A week after posting their second-best numbers since debuting on Pop TV, Impact Wrestling viewership was down big for Thursday night's episode.
Last night's Impact averaged 294,000 viewers, down from the previous week's 399,000. The reason for the drop was most likely due to competition from WWE programming. WWE's special on the greatest moments in WrestleMania history aired on the USA Network opposite the first hour of Impact and did 746,000 viewers.
The WWE special garnered a 0.24 rating in the 18-49 demo, with Impact doing a 0.06. WWE finished 26th for the night on cable and Impact was 128th.
The last time Impact faced competition from WWE, their viewership fell to 161,000 against Tribute to the Troops last December.

Ahead of Sunday's Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, five more wrestlers have been added to the lineup for the match.
Kane, Shelton Benjamin, Chad Gable, Aiden English, and Curt Hawkins were the latest names announced for the battle royal. This will be the first time that Benjamin has wrestled at WrestleMania since 2010. Kane is also returning to WrestleMania after not competing on last year's show.

The Wrap is reporting that William Morris Endeavor has brought in a second agency, Creative Arts Agency (CAA) to work on World Wrestling Entertainment's current TV rights negotiations for WWE with the idea that since WME-IMG now owns UFC, they felt there could be a conflict of interest that could jeopardize a potential TV deal worth as much as $400 million rights deal for WWE.
CAA is being brought in so there was a system of "checks and balances" set up to protect the interests of all involved.
When contacted by The Wrap, a WWE spokesperson stated the company would continue a “longstanding partnership with WME as well as working relationships with other agencies and strategic advisors around the world.”
The article also noted that WME are still dealing with issues in regard to selling a new UFC TV deal to cable networks. The UFC deal is estimated to be worth around $200 million, half of what WWE is currently estimated as being worth.

That last line is really interesting since WWE and UFC want something around $400 million for a new deal and while WWE would be happy to get $200 million, them getting less than their current deal would be a huge blow. Link: https://www.thewrap.com/caa-joins-ww...ict-exclusive/

- According to those at WWE's Axxess event, WWE scrubbed out more of Moolah's impact and legacy for their Women's Evolution display. Instead of the 80s being associated with Moolah, they now consider it as the Wendi Richter Era.
