Honestly, a little bit. There have been periods where Ambrose has been red hot, and there have been periods where he has been on the edge of being white hot. The general booking of him has never been great. Instead of him being a wily ass-kicker, he's a dumb dog with a glutton for punishment. The beating from Brock didn't help, but Ambrose, himself, seemed to lose spirit from it. He did some underwhelming work for the rest of 2016, and began to resemble The King of Bum Fights.

I don't hate him or anything, and when he comes back I hope he has fire and there is a renewed attitude towards him, but when you go around saying that you're "Vince McMahon's favorite wrestler" you kind of come off like a fool when you don't deliver.
