If your really interested in a decent amount of games and can find one reasonably cheap, then sure. Nintendo has refurbished ones for around $200-$215 with 1-2 games if you don't care about having a used one.

Could also just wait till after the Switch event in a couple of weeks to get an idea of the games the Switch is going to have for launch and shortly afterwards. Maybe it will have similar type of party games you might be interested in.
