I'd just like to see Spiderman restored to its glory. The franchise should have paced itself.
Spiderman 3 was extremely bloated, and felt paranoid about being the potential finale. Way too much going on in there, and as a result the movie was way out of whack.

I like the one villian style of 2, with a focus on Peter Parker as a character. That's where it should have gone from movie to movie.

It's funny, because the assets of Spiderman 3 could have easily spanned two or three movies. Instead they threw Sandman out there with no real setup, completely wasted Venom, and underdid the black suit storyline.
And probably the biggest injustice of all, they took the Harry Osborn storyline that was slowly developed over two movies and threw it away.

The reason this is ironic is that now they're making a 4th, and possibly a 5th. What are they going to do? Use The Lizard, or some other vilain and go back to the one villain formula? Its what they should have done in 3 to begin with.
They've exhausted all their assets and existing plotlines.
