The problem is the immediate counter is that he has to say that until WWE announces it, but as a story, this has already spread in different places

He said he broke his neck in ECW but didn't know it at the time and kept wrestling. His body then healed wrong. He said a good day now is walking like Terry Funk and has been in excruciating pain for a while and knows his time in the ring isn't long.
