Major League Wrestling have applied to trademark "MLW Fusion", so that may be the name of their new series.

There was a photo shoot this week with a number of wrestlers done for use for the series.

It's entirely possible she could ask them to reconsider, although her issues (neck) are vastly different from Daniel Bryan's issues. My feeling is that we won't see her return to the ring under the WWE umbrella, but there is always a possibility they could reconsider. After getting this email, however, I asked whether there had been any changes in her status and was told no. We are told that her role going forward will be to continue to support Absolution and obviously, she'll be involved in promoting the Fighting With My Family film that comes out in the Fall.

When was Bryan actually cleared?

The word that was making the rounds backstage at Smackdown Tuesday night was that it was several weeks ago, but we later learned that was when he took the final round of tests. According to Bryan in an interview, WWE informed him he was cleared this past Monday, so it was about 12-24 hours before they issued the press release announcing he was free and clear.
From PWI's weekly Q&A articles on Paige's WWE status and when Bryan was medically cleared.

Cody also stopped doing the LeBell lock and they stopped teasing Danielson's name in social media. On the flip side, Danielson was still studying non-WWE wrestling, in particular of Zack Sabre Jr., and thinking about the idea of a vegetarian submission masters tag team.

It should be noted that they've had a lot of dates booked for U.K. TV tapings and have canceled them quietly. However, they have renewed all the key contracts of the U.K. guys. The "big five," which they consider as Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, Wolfgang and Mark Andrews were believed to have gotten better deals, in at least one case from $20,000 a year to $50,000. They also just signed Zack Gibson, and it was for the U.K. project and not for NXT. The idea is still to do tapings and run a U.K. based promotion, and eventually open a training center with the idea of bringing U.K. trainers to Florida (like Johnny Moss already did) to teach them how WWE wants people trained and have them run it. Marty Jones did a Q&A and actually brought up this which was supposed to have been kept quiet. There is nothing at all new on the ITV front. If ITV were to make a move, it would speed up the process ...

In the U.K. dressing rooms the word has been passed around that Joe Coffey has signed a U.K. deal, but Coffey himself has personally denied it. The problem is the immediate counter is that he has to say that until WWE announces it, but as a story, this has already spread in different places

  • According to the Observer, the reason for the lack of women wrestlers and women matches at the Saudi Rumble show is due to the terms of the deal WWE made with the Saudi government. WWE didn't bother to negotiate for better terms since they cared way more about the huge sums of money they are set to get from this 10-year deal.
