I think if they just let guys be themselves and just gave them the old bullet points, sure some would fail, but the ones who can do it would make the product so much better.

I think that is the problem though, WWE doesn't want guys they didn't pick getting over, as evident by them going out of there way to bury guys that do far too often.

I also think a guy like Roman would be better off just being himself then badly reciting some crap somebody else wrote for him. I think back to one of the first network specials they did, it was a panel hosted by Austin for WWE 2k15 roster reveal before Summerslam. Roman was just up there being himself and he came across as cool, witty, and believable. Fast forward a few months and Vince is ghostwriting his promos with loony toons quotes, and it's been an uphill battle since.
