PPTV and PPTV Sports will stream the shows on Smart TVs, set-top boxes, mobile devices, and tablets, as well as their websites. There will also be specialized Chinese programming on those services.

On the in-ring side, Bin Wang is now under a developmental deal, the first wrestler of Chinese ancestry to be with the promotion. Often known as Wang Bin, he has been a regular undercard wrestler for Antonio Inoki's IGF promotion in Japan. The Inoki group first reported on his signing with WWE Wednesday night and wished him well. He starts this weekend with the promotion.

In conjunction with the news, WWE has reached a deal with Expo Group as live promoters, and announced a 9/10 live event at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai.

The ticket sales have picked up in the last week and they are expecting a sellout with a 13,000-seat configuration at the new T Mobile Arena, the same site as UFC 200 and 202.

It’s not Ronda Rousey being linked in an angle with The Rock and being put over strong, which only helped her, as Rousey’s next PPV main did 300,000 more buys. That’s not saying it was because of Mania or The Rock, but it surely helped her with a new fan base. This is Rousey being brought in and UFC agreeing to let her lose to Stephanie McMahon.
From the recent Observer Newsletter about the WWE being potentially the big losers in the upcoming Lesnar-Hunt fight in regards to Lesnar's star power value.

Right now they want experienced wrestlers who they can use on tours as opposed getting athletes and teach them to be pro wrestlers from scratch.
