Activision ended up confirming rumors of the next Call of Duty game having a Battle Royale mode and no single player campaign.

A new trailer was released to introduce the mode, which you can check out below. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 launches on PS4, PC and Xbox One on October 12.


Other stuff announced included PC version being exclusive to Battle.net, health regen in mutliplayer is no longer automatic but needs to be manually triggered, and a class-based system similar to Overwatch and Rainbow Six Siege.
