1) Update on recent Anthem delay news as EA announced the official reason for its delay till early 2019 is due to them wanting a new Battlefield game to get the priority for Fall 2018's major release.

2) According to reports, this year's recipient of the D.I.C.E. Lifetime Achievement award will be Nintendo's Genyo Takeda. Prior to retiring last year, Takeda had a 45 year career with the company and was one of their lead hardware and software designers.

3) FREEBIES - Sony revealed the list of free games for February's Playstation Plus includes Knack (PS4) and Spelunker HD (PS3) among the seven games available. For those who own PS VR, StarBlood Arena will also be free to download next month.

4) Based on EA's recent fiscal report, Star Wars Battlefront II's microtransaction system will be returning within the next few months. In regards to the actual effects of the backlash, EA revealed the game has sold around 9 million copies since its launch and was only 1 million under their original expectations.

5) According to Nintendo, it took 10 months for the Switch to surpass the Wii U's lifetime sales. In regards to software, Super Mario Odyssey is currently the highest selling game at over 9 million copies sold.
