According to a report from Polygon, Microsoft is currently rumored to be considering purchasing a major gaming company within the near future.
EA, PUBG Corp, and Valve were listed as the likely rumored targets for Microsoft for a potential purchase.
In terms of money, a potential purchase of EA would likely cost $7 billion as a minimum and as high as $35 billion based on their net worth. PUGB would be way cheaper at just a few billion dollars. Hardest to purchase would be Valve not because of money but because of how incompatible their workplace philosophy is to Microsoft.
