The key was how reversed from usual the third hour drop was, as in recent weeks, it's been double digit drops among women, and in women 18-49, it was up one percent and males 18-49 were up eight percent. It did drop among teenage girls and those over 50.

9 p.m. 3.33 million viewers
10 p.m. 3.31 million viewers

The strategy is to inflate the overall network number in time for Monday’s announcement of the latest figure. This year’s show feels like it is a better-promoted show with Ronda Rousey and Daniel Bryan as the two big needle movers for the show. The major question is how many non-WWE fans are signing up for the service to watch Ronda Rousey participate in a pro wrestling match, and how many of those people are going to keep the service? That all depends on their interest level in Rousey doing pro wrestling and if they need to see her more than once. The gains year-over-year at WrestleMania are positive but not overwhelming for the WWE, which is why Rousey is a big investment. The unique nature of Rousey’s drawing power in the UFC is that she was able to attract pay-per-view buyers, who would only buy her fights and were not UFC fans by nature. If you are of the belief that the WWE has a finite fanbase that is willing to sign up for the network, Rousey could represent an ability to hit a new audience that is untapped for the service, but that is still up for debate until the numbers come later this year to see her effectiveness.

Right now it seems any real benefit WWE is getting from Ronda is negligible at best. She didn't really provide a big boost in viewers for RAW or ticket sales for Mania unlike Bryan.

The Blast has a story here about David Otunga helping his niece, Kylee, get a heart transplant. Otunga had devoted his time to find Kylee a heart, which she recently secured. Otunga told The Blast that Kylee's recovery has been amazing, and that she is now walking and responding "like she has fresh life breathed into her." While she has a long road ahead of her with her recovery, Otunga said that she is in great spirits and positive about getting better. Kylee was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last September and had been kept alive with the assistance of a machine and a continuous IV. She was bumped to the top of the list to receive a transplant because her condition had been rapidly deteriorating.
