Originally when this first came out, I assumed it was like some kinda real-world-based game where, for example players A and B both have a pokemon pop up on their screen, player A catches it, and player B therefore has missed out. So in a way every app is "connected". I was dreading thinking this is gonna legit lead to people stabbing others to prevent them getting certain pokemon etc.

I'm glad that's not the case, but hopefully it'll never evolve to that point.
