Unlike Wind Waker's cell shading style being used for Zelda games on the Nintendo DS, Nintendo nor Eiji Aonuma have any intentions of using the Skyward style for future Wii U and 3DS Zelda games.

The main reason was due to when Wind Waker was being developed, both Miyamoto and Aonuma noticed how well the style would work for the DS. The storyline of the DS games were also done as a continuation of the Wind Waker storyline which kept the same Link for all the games.

Since Skyward Sword ended up as a prequel to the entire series and the fate of the first Link, the same style can't be reused as easily in terms of storyline reasons as Wind Waker was.

Quote:
With Wind Waker, the graphics were suited to handheld gaming. Also the game ended with Link embarking on a journey, so it left open the possibility of what comes after the game. With Skyward Sword, positioning it as the first Zelda game means everything else connects to it and comes after it. It becomes a little bit difficult to do something else within that world and certainly much more difficult to do something that comes before it.
While Twilight Princess technically didn't have another Zelda game using the same style, it was used as the basis for Link's Crossbow Training which had some loose ties to the main game.
