Torrent Freaks revealed the list of the most pirated games of 2011 during the News Year Eve weekend with games from the PC, Xbox 360, and Wii listed.
Results on handhelds and the PS3 were not listed with the PS3 assumed to be due more to the larger file sizes and only recently became cracked to the public in late Spring.
Almost all of the games released in November with the exception of CoD: Modern Warfare 3 did not reach enough pirated copies to make the lists as well.

In terms of the PC numbers, the Crysis 3 numbers were mostly from the launch period and large enough to have Crytek drop all future exclusive support for the PC market in favor of the more profitable console market.
In terms of the Wii numbers, FIFA 12 was pirated more than double of the actual sales for the game based on estimates.
