An announcement regarding Episode II for Sonic 4 will be made tomorrow on Gamespot according to Sega.

"Maybe most of you have figured it out, but just in case you were still wondering: Episode II will announced on GameSpot worldwide on December 29th, 2011"
Ken Balough, Sega's Digital Brand Manager, did mention not to actually expected anything huge from the announcement although it will follow the same way Episode 1 was revealed with a teaser trailer and some brief info regarding the new episode.
