1) Sony confirms rumors of The Last of Us getting a PS4 version with the game to be called The Last of Us Remastered, costs $60, includes all the DLC for the game, and multiplayer goodies as pre-order gifts.

2) As part of the on-going debate involving video games and violence, a recent study from Oxford University states game-related aggression is tied a lot more to frustration while playing than the actual level of violence found in a game.

"We focused on the motives of people who play electronic games and found players have a psychological need to come out on top when playing. If players feel thwarted by the controls or the design of the game, they can wind up feeling aggressive. This need to master the game was far more significant than whether the game contained violent material," Dr Andrew Przybylski said.

3) According to the creative director for The Crew, the game will automatically boot back to the title screen and lose all stats/data whenever an internet connection is lost while playing. It was also revealed the game contains a microtransaction system with the option to purchase items either with in-game credits or real money.

4) Footage of a cancelled Darth Maul Star Wars game being developed by Red Fly Studio was recently leaked online. Development on the game started in 2010 as a Wii U exclusive before being dropped in 2011 due to Lucas Arts wanting different platforms instead and the sudden decision to cut all ties with the studio.
