Yeah or at least start him off with better momentum than coming off the abysmal end of the Alphas. Like they could have teased the Alphas breakup was due to a huge surprise and both GMs doing their best to hype this surprise for the future. Then Angle teases he has a huge announcement and not make it seem like he's a bit ashamed at having a long lost black son.

Seemed like they were on pace to do so until rushing him right back into a title feud and proving everything the Miz said about him being true. Made the "respect" stuff feel a lot more forced than it should have been.

They forgot how the whole Cena-Angle "respect" thing went since they rushed Jordan into a title feud first, then tried the "respect" stuff that felt forced, and then rushed right back into another title feud. With Cena, it went "respect" match, then singles matches and feuds to build up his star power, and then title feuds leading to his big US title win.
