According to Honky Tonk Man (and take this with a grain of salt), he was offered and turned it down because they were offering him less than what he makes on the Indies


Martel is a weird one. He left on good terms, kept his nose clean, hadn't bad mouthed the company, yet for whatever reason he has gotten the call. He's more than deserving. Hillbilly Jim was another one that I had in that category for years and he ended up getting the call last year, so I'm hoping Martel is going in soon.
