* Evo Championship Series announced that signups for competitors for Street Fighter VI for this year's upcoming EVO tournaments broke the records for most ever EVO tournament players in Street Fighter series history and most ever players for a specific EVO game tournament in EVO history. For some comparison, the previous SF record for an EVO tournament was over 5,000 players.

* According to a report from IGN, Perfect Dark reboot is currently rumored to be at least 2 to 3 years away from a potential release. It was reported that the reason for the game currently being in development hell revolves around issues in 2019 between Microsoft's internal The Initiative studio and a third party studio named Certain Affinity that MS brought in to help with the game's development. This ended up having the opposite effect causing the game's development to slow down and issues with the direction of its development and serious behind-the-scenes issues that lead to a lot of people leaving the project. It was reported that this was the reason why MS ended up having Crystal Dynamics take over the project but causing the game's development to be delayed even more than what MS had originally expected.
