The official reason given is due to them shutting down all online support for those games. * During a recent interview with the Financial Times, Xbox boss Phil Spencer revealed that Microsoft is currently in the process of launching a new in-house digital store app for mobile gaming. The official reason is due to the European Union's upcoming new law called the Digital Markets Act which requires Apple and Google to allow third party app stores on their iOS and Android services.
