I get why they abandoned the original Triple H method. It was never going to be able to win over the hardcore audience away from AEW. I also understand why focusing on developmental guys with a main roster future makes sense. But there is definitely more of a middle ground than going all the way with green talent against green talent (most of the time).

There are plenty of veterans and player/coaches you can use. And you can get away with having top feuds between two wrestlers with years of experience in the business. The winning recipe could be pushing your Creeds and Cora Jades while also having matches between Timothy Thatcher and Oney Lorcan.
