Think about how many of your friends and family like watching movies. There are some who will know the really big actors and such. But how many people can tell you who directed The Avengers films? How many people can tell you the name of the actor who plays the woman in SHIELD? How many refer to her as “Robyn from How I Met Your Mother?”

There’s this assumption that wrestling fans are interested in this giant backstage network of information and drama. Some people actively don’t want wrestling to be anything more than wrestler A wrestling wrestler B without it being any more arcane than that.
