Yeah compared to others after them, Neville and Sami would be closer to the "homegrown" side of the scale than "pre-WWE established" for how their indie star status was handled.

Wasn't until around Kevin Owens or Finn Balor where NXT's mentality with pre-established talent started to shift more in the other direction for big pushes and focus.
