Apparently Maryland's State Athletic Commission recently fined AEW $10k for the Unsanctioned match between Moxley and Omega at Full Gear.

The former WCW announcer guy who snitched on them has been gloating about it despite everyone else mocking him about it. Somehow he thinks AEW getting fined is a bigger black eye to wrestling than all the shit WWE has pulled recently.

"This puts AEW on notice, as well, and it embarrasses the company. By this time tomorrow the story will have spread far and wide. And it will appear in mainstream publications. This is a black eye for AEW and for the business."

Whatever you think of athletic commissions regulating wrestling/enforcing rules, it’s obvious that there are violations of MD's rules on EVERY SINGLE PRO WRESTLING CARD IN THE STATE.

Meanwhile despite being named in a class-action lawsuit regarding allegations of top WWE executives committing acts for their own personal financial benefit and not for the company's best interests, Triple H decided to sell off over $1 million worth of his WWE stocks recently.

There could be any number of reasons why an executive or board member might sell shares. Some like Dunn make sales almost every year. It raises some curiosity though when a sale is made by someone who rarely or never does so, when the stock is at about half of its 52wk high. https://t.co/erqZ3LB19m
