I've felt some nostalgia watching New Japan lately. It's not perfect and the language/cultural barrier is always gonna be hindrance for me but when I watch the build to certain matches and then see it play out in the ring, it's the closest I get to feeling like I'm watching old NWA. I was even invested in a Young Bucks match and I generally find them terrible.
