This is actually the first time Punk has even mentioned wrestling in AGES. Not too long ago he was cancelling interviews because people were asking him wrestling questions and he wanted none of it.

When he did his podcasts with Colt, he said he watched his wife's segments but that was the only wrestling he was watching. And aside from posting a GIF of him shaking Bryan's hand after he announced his retirement or commenting on a death here and there, he largely hasn't talked about ANYTHING wrestling related until now.

I was worried that his passion for the industry was totally dead, which is just a sad state of affairs for anybody who put nearly two decades of their life into it.
