Kalyx basically said what I've been saying multiple times in this thread. 2k was stuck between a rock and a hard place with 2k15. Their choices were to either add major changes to a stagnant product, while sacrificing features due to the unfamiliarity with the new hardware, or release the same old tired shit.

I'm not going to sit here and claim that 2k15 was a great game. At the end of the day, it was missing too many features. But I'm not going to crucify them for it, because in the long term, it was the right choice. You can see that already, with how 2k16 has come together. Would be one thing if they threw the stuff back in there and called it good, but they're actually improving on the returning features. That says they care at least somewhat about the fanbase and the product they put out.

Locking some of the match types to Universe and Career was inexcusable though. They need to cut that shit.
