2) An on-going court case involving EA, the NCAA, and former college athletes was recently decided in favor of the players with EA required to pay a fee of around $950 per player per game their likeness was used or around $40 million overall in total compensation. The NCAA itself is currently suing EA due to claims of contract breaching related to this settlement.
