Yeah. I think you should spawn further away if the same guy kills you maybe 3 times in under a minute. The fact you get killed in 2 or 3 shots really doesn't help. Even the sucky pistol kills pretty easily.
The Titan mission is a pain, solo. I wipe out the guards and more magically spawn. Not in the distance to give the illusion that re-enforcements are arriving but right beside you because the game
really doesn't want you to win.
