Activision confirms the rumors of a GoldenEye for the Xbox 360 and PS3 is indeed currently in development and it will be called GoldenEye Reloaded.

The game is a straight port of the Wii version with the only confirmed changes being upscaled graphics and the removal of motion controls. Nothing from the single player or multiplayer is being changed nor any special extras to separate it from the Wii version.

Activision will make the announcement official at Comic-Con this weekend alongside with videos of the remake and the possibility of playable demos.

It appears Nintendo had agreed to allow Activision to make a GoldenEye game for other consoles as long as they had the game first and had enough time to sell it as an exclusive. Also assumed is Nintendo still will not allow the N64 classic to be ported in any way to non-Nintendo systems.

More screens from the game are in the 2nd link.
