Hope they don't over do it with the trailers with this movie. No need to show Superman in the trailer, leave that for the movie.

I mean that's fine I know he's going to be in the movie. I don't go looking for set photos either. I just don't want to see them do what they did with Wonder Woman and spoiled her debut in a trailer. Supermans return should be a surprise or else it will take away from the movie.

Trailer makes a point to show levity. Good call. Flash and Aquaman looks good, Cyborg...meh. ive never been big on the source material though.

Not for me yet, like I said I haven't seen any set photos and he hasn't showed up in the trailer so for all I know he's still dead. I just don't want to see him until his return in the movie.

So excited for Wonder Woman. Have a gut feeling it will be amazing.

Dunno, a big part of me still can't get past the muted colour/grey colour scheme to the whole thing.

You can add as much "levity" as you want, but if the colours are still completely drained out of the thing, it isn't going to add much.

I hope I'm wrong and this movie is great.

As for Cyborg, I used to hate the idea that he was now a founding member of the Justice League, and that he took Martian Manhunter's spot.......

But then I read a bunch of stuff, and I guess it makes "sense"...... that in today's "technological world" they decided to include a dude whose whole thing is computers/tech instead of another super strong dude.....

No i agree the filter/art style are only really good for batman. In BvS and SS i was, due to the art direction, constantly hyper aware i watching a movie. Not able to be sucked into the narrative. Its clearly a descision they arent backing off of though. With that said i do think its important to highlight the levity since it was a major criticism from most veiwers. Theyre listening and theyre trying to correct course...lets hope they dont over correct...

I don't know what's laughable about that but I think you see him as just being on set as a spoiler and that's not what I'm talking about. I just think that Supernans return should something of a surprise while watching the movie. If he's in a trailer that would ruin the surprise in the theater.

That's just how I am with movies. I don't dig deep into the filming and making of the movie. I like to see a trailer and get hyped for the movie. These threads are about all I see about a movie other than trailers before I see it.

Yeah I don't think he looks the part either, I'm not big on the suit either. Could be I'm just think the TV show does a good job with the look that I'm just use to it.

Trailer doesn't do it for me

It took me a while, but I realized one of the things that ate at me the most:

"What's your Superpower?"
"I'm Rich..."

That doesn't sound like something Bruce Wayne or Batman would say. I mean, I get why that Objectivist asshat Snyder would think that's a legit superpower. However, I think Timm understood Batman better...

I've mentioned before, and it might just be my Marvel bias, but DC's humor in it's trailers always falls flat with me.

"Dresses like a bat... I dig it"... "I'm rich" and the "I didn't think you were real... only when I need to be"... none of this makes me even chuckle. It's cringe-worthy.

I'll still go to see it, either way. But the trailers don't get me anywhere near as hyped up as the Avengers ones did.

Ya. If you try and compare this to the Avengers you will be very disappointed.

I didn't like the 1st Avengers movie. The 2nd one was ok as well. Hoping the 3rd one is 'actually good'. So far Captain America: Civil War is the best movie with multiple Avengers in it tbh. Captain America: Winter Soldier, Iron Man, GOTG and Ant-Man are probably the best Marvel flicks so far (not counting X-Men since Fox makes those).

So DC not only like to make bad films, but also like to showcase bad versions of great songs.

I'll probably download it and watch out of curiosity when it's out in blu ray. But fully expecting another shit show.

Make sure to wait for the "Extended Version" release, which will have some added scenes to make the movie make more sense.

Actually, the comparisons to the first Avengers is similar. Not very many movies to establish it and not hit and miss critical success.
