New Legacy Inc have been talking to the Spike guy and done some DM's and he thinks there's a genuine interest in making a new one if there's an appetite. But that's just the guy behind the Twitter account of course.

There were rumors a few months ago that spike was developing a new firepro for the NX.

Strange enough I was in this place the other day that has all kinds of old and current games and a copy of Fire Pro Wrestling Returns for PS2 caught my eye. I was severely tempted but ended up getting NBA JAM for PS2 instead.

The gameplay is fucking amazing. That's all there is to it and all it really needs

The creation suite is also top tier. Even has a complex AI editor to make them behave how they should, unlike WWE's piss-poor efforts.

500 slots for CAWs. The ability to make anyone ever. Massive moveset list for customization. AI system so intricate you simulate matches that will have a shine, heat, comeback and a finish.Brilliant gameplay. The centerpiece being a true nuetral collar-elbow. Also: criticals are fucking rad. Customization customization customization.

I have never played Fire Pro for some reason. Heard nothing but great things about it. Anyone wanna link to a video that captures what its all about?

Its very grapple heavy for style and sort of like the N64 wrestling games where the controls are simple but provide a lot of depth possible.

That finish was really good. Their AI of danielson Ukemi must really low. Gotta be in the 30s.
