Marvel's top writer switches sides to DC

Top: see "worst"

IDK a lot about him other than he's written many of the biggest selling comics and events (including stuff MCU has been based on) of the last 20 Years -- And created Jessica Jones/Miles Morales.

I'll be curious to check out whatever his first title is at DC.

Send Grant Morrison to Marvel now (keep Scott Snyder and Geoff Johns in DC).

It won't matter when Disney buys DC

Fun Fact:

DC was almost sold to Marvel in 1984 -- with Marvel agreeing to publish Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Justice League, Teen Titans and Legion of Superheroes. As the sale neared, Marvel's then CEO decided people weren't interested in Batman, Supes, etc. any more and passed on the purchase of DC.

A year later DC came up with 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' event and their entire lineup was revitalized and their sales slump ended. But Hulk and Supes and Thor and Bats and Flash and the X-Men were almost all nearly under the same Comics Umbrella.

I think this stigma mainly comes from his work on the major crossovers, which I agree is questionable. However, I find the majority of his work on ongoing titles to be really good.

Speculation is he won't be given one of the 'big 3' or Justice League b/c DC is happy with the teams on those books and they don't really need a sales boost.

Sounds like he might get a Teen Titans, Green Arrow, Street level character (and he's said in the past he'd like to 'get his mittens' on Zatanna).

Powers was such a good book at first. Then it got kinda boring.

Never seen the show though. Thought the casting was really weird and wasn't interested.
