Sad. He was pretty vigorous for his age.

He was the biggest kid in the world. Thought he'd live forever. R.I.P.

I'm extremely happy he lived to see the MCU happen, particularly Phase 1 into Avengers. He's the man.

Damn. But, at 95, he had a good innings.

I wonder if we'll get a CGI Stan Lee in future Marvel films, post Avengers 4?

Reflecting on the impact Spider-Man and the X-Men had on my formative years. Its hard not to recognize Stan Lee as a major figure in my life.

I second that emotion.

I don't know what the ratio is with rumor to facts, but didn't they film a bunch of cameos for the scripted slate of films at the shooting stage "just in case"?

I hope he gets an animated send-off like Jack Kirby did in Justice League (the "uncensored" version, where there were Marvel characters he had a hand in at the funeral.) Or like some in-universe memorial in New York that gets visited both on the big screen and in the Netflix shows.

The Cameos in Teen Titans go to the Movies caught me off guard

I actually was just made aware of that earlier today.

Also, Kevin Smith was way ahead of the game with him being in Mallrats.

Avengers 4 and Captain Marvel were likely filmed. Dark Phoenix hasn't been confirmed. Spidey 2 Part 3 still wrapping but I'm guessing that was done already.

But after all that it's gonna easter egg pics like the Netflix shows from now on.

His final cameos were filmed 2 yesrs ago. A4 is the last one.

A4 is gonna be rather bittersweet
