Well they teased Anggelico as #11 but he didn't come out.

Simple Fan 06-14-2018 12:51 AM

Also the blue and yellow ropes are different right? Don't remember the other season's having them. Is there a reason or just to fit the ice house?

DaveWadding 06-14-2018 01:55 AM

Just to fit the ice house theme I think

Anybody Thrilla 06-15-2018 07:31 PM

Is Fox missing part of a story? Or is he not in this season? Seems like he'll show back up and have beef with Son of Havoc.

Anybody Thrilla 06-15-2018 07:31 PM

Which would make for some dope matches.

Jordan 06-15-2018 08:28 PM

Not a bad show.

slik 06-15-2018 11:23 PM

Watching for the first time ever so far so good!

slik 06-15-2018 11:24 PM

So far I like:

Ricky Mundo
Pentagon Dark
Fenix
King Cuerco
Johnny Mundo
Daga

Mil Mascares seems like a loser!!!

slik 06-15-2018 11:26 PM

This Moth dude isn't bad evil

Entrance is 'cool' imo

slik 06-15-2018 11:28 PM

Is Pentagon Dark the Roman Reigns of Lucha Underground???

slik 06-15-2018 11:32 PM

Pizza Guy entrance was <3

slik 06-15-2018 11:39 PM

The man who ate PIZZA during his match is an ICON in my opinion.

slik 06-15-2018 11:41 PM

Dave Wadding is #TRIGGERED

Wait until the promos and such.

He followed me on Twitter last year, btw. Because I am a celebrity.

This is a weird request. If it's going to spoil something, I'd rather you not.

DaveWadding 06-16-2018 12:48 PM

Just going to confirm/deny something about Fox, no storyline bullshit.

Anybody Thrilla 06-16-2018 12:49 PM

Fire away then.

Splaya 06-16-2018 01:58 PM

Good action but I feel underwhelmed. I dunno.

Anybody Thrilla 06-16-2018 02:20 PM

It was just an introductory episode with multiple people in it. I'm sure it'll pick up as quickly as next week.

DaveWadding 06-19-2018 02:22 AM

The real problem with the episode was that they spent 10 solid minutes on the Antonio Cueto stuff, instead of having the match run the whole 45 like it usually does

DaveWadding 06-20-2018 05:02 PM

Pentagod vs. Matanza.

Going to be a fucking hoss fight tonight, gents.

DaveWadding 06-21-2018 04:43 PM

Cuerno is a bad ass. "I dont know where or when..." "I don't give a shit about your life."

Pretty good Trios match, lots of new faces.

Glad I can finally talk about Big, Bad Steve.

Match for the medallion was alright. Feel like both Drago and Azteca were on cruise control a little bit.

Wish Pentagon/Matanza was longer. I could watch those two beat the piss out of each other all day.

Next week should be hype as fuck. I heard from others that it was really good.

Simple Fan 06-21-2018 05:46 PM

Yeah another good episode. Agree on the Pentagon/Matanza match being longer, I wanted more but that finish was pretty amazing. Jake Strong is a good name as well, I like it.

DaveWadding 06-28-2018 02:05 PM

The three way this week was fucking insane. Glad to see Ivelisse and Cage back.

DaveWadding 07-05-2018 05:26 PM

The out of ring segments this week were the highlight for me. Also, Vibora doing things. And always, BIG BAD STEVE.

Simple Fan 07-05-2018 05:30 PM

Vibora is a hell of a talent.

Emperor Smeat 07-05-2018 06:06 PM

Season 4 has been really good so far and even better was someone recently discovered the full version of Mil Muertes theme. Been waiting for this theme to get released ever since the first season.

DaveWadding 07-13-2018 06:39 AM

They done turnt up the heat this week. Cage/Muertes was a freaking hoss battle, Ivie and Joey Ryan had a good match, a couple people died, and The Mack busted out some Lucha Chocolate shit.

Simple Fan 07-13-2018 09:37 AM

Yeah really liked Cage vs Mil Muertes. Didn't know who Killer Kross was a few weeks ago but he's now on Impact and Lucha Underground.

Catching up on season 4, so did they just completely drop the angle after the whole MVP thing (where I assume MVP was gonna be the guy in the limo from the second season that gave the gauntlet to Cage)

Nah, they have that guy hanging around the Temple, the gauntlet is still around. LU never drops ANYTHING I've learned. But, from what MVP SAYS, they were going to put him under a mask and change his whole wrestling style, so it's hard to say what they cut out or didn't.

Listening to Cornette for 5 minutes made me want to swallow a shotgun though. I wonder if he would have the same complaints about Game of Thrones or Harry Potter or some shit. Because LU is closer to those than it is to WWE or fucking Smoky Mountain or whatever garbage Ol Corny fired out of his asscheeks for a bunch of goddamn rednecks.

Simple Fan 07-18-2018 11:55 PM

Desmond Xavier, this should be interesting. Good high flyer from Impact.

Simple Fan 07-18-2018 11:58 PM

Good debut in Lucha Underground.

Exactly when I first heard him criticize Lucha underground I was like okay I like you cornet but this time you are dead wrong Lucha underground is amazing Lucha underground is exactly what wrestling has always tried to be fully realized it pulls out all the stops it runs with the goofiness and plays it completely straight and it works I don't know what his problem is.

He has a very narrow mindset of what wrestling should be and is very stubborn to adapt it to modern wrestling and styles. Its a major reason why he has the rep of being tough to work or deal with and why even his great ideas came off as being abrasive.

DaveWadding 07-19-2018 04:11 AM

I wonder if he ever complained to Vince about how stupid and unrealistic a zombie undertaker cult leader biker was....
