How many film previews involve Tom Cruise and a plane...17?

Not sold on this. I wanted a horror film not a action-blockbuster-horror film.

Looks terrible, honestly. And I'ma sucker for ancient evil stories.

Rammsteinmad 12-05-2016 09:38 AM

I say this with every Tom Cruise film... but, looks like every Tom Cruise film.

Destor 12-05-2016 10:00 AM

I just wanted a sequel not a reboot :(

The way they deployed the commercial made it feel like it was a Scientology ad or something along the lines of making the viewer question his own mortality. I have no recollection of watching any Tom Cruise movie all the way through. Even Top Gun

I like old Tom Cruise movies but don't think I've gone out of my way to see a Tom Cruise film since maybe 'War of the Worlds'. Agreed on all his movies looking the same.

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-05-2016 11:16 AM

Blah. It won't touch the 1999 Mummy.

Agreed. I'll watch Brendan Fraser and Arnold Vosloo anytime.

Didn't see the trailer, is Tom riding a motorcycle somewhere in this movie?

slik 12-05-2016 02:47 PM

Yeah but if he stands still you get some perspective on his height so directors try and avoid it

I wonder if the rock will be in this.
