Apparently Ziggler is staying for another 2 years in the WWE.

Not a bad description but I'd put most of it on Impact wanting him to be that character. Was much better when he was with James Storm in the Revolution as Khoya.

$1.5 million a year seems like a shitload of money for Dolph considering how expendable they treat him.

Would put him in the top 5-6 range assuming the amount is true. Brock supposedly makes around $6 million a year, Cena around $2 million, Triple H around $1-$2 million, and then several in the $1-$1.5 million range.

Think he was rumored before to be making in the $500k-$750k range per year.

Who the fuck even has olives in a taco? You watch him get a big push now that they're paying him for it though. He's already been added to the Fastlane main event. I can see him being moved to Raw and working with Roman Reigns or being the first challenger for Shinsuke Nakamura after Mania.

He makes a lot more off of merch and other stuff but think the $2 million range is his base salary. Also very possible he makes closer to $3 million as his base.

Same for Triple H making more money when you include other stuff he gets as perks. He gets two paychecks with his wrestler one being lower than his COO one.

*and by "Main event wrestlemania" we mean wrestle in a title match that occurs sometime on the card but not the last match on the card cause thats Roman Reigns time to shine

Not the most unrealistic thing in the world at this point, especially if they don't trust Styles and Nakamura as a program.

I love Dolph as much as the next guy, but even I find his payday a bit strange. I guess it makes sense since he's been in the company for quite awhile, but it seems like they have tons of guys they could elevate to his spot for WAY cheaper with a small tweak to their booking. No reason why someone like Curt Hawkins, Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas, Zack Ryder, Elias or Chad Gable to take his "has great matches with the big star to make him look good but always job" spot in the upper mid-card after a few months of stronger booking beforehand.....

In fairness...... good on him for negotiating that deal. He deserves kudos given how rough it's been for him.

Given how much his focus seems to be on outside ventures and how people who know him talk about him, I get the feeling he's stopped giving a fuck. And that's a good thing. If he were really concerned about how his character is handled at this point he'd have lost his fucking mind.

I'm pretty certain Dolph stopped giving a fuck when they did absolutely nothing with him after Survivor Series 2014.
