Decent wrestler overall and was pretty good during his first run as a commentary. Really shouldn't have been brought back considering he's been more terrible than good with this current run as a commentator.

In terms of being a bully, he's just someone who never managed to change with the times and WWE shares the blame for letting this stuff still happen.

Why?

Because I asked him some tough questions while being polite.

Also, Johnny Mundo confirmed that Bradshaw asked him to steal Roberts' passport.

He seems like a piece of shit. He is good at the character he plays on tv but I usually don't like his commentary that much. JBL/Graves could be good if JBL didn't go on his weird rants.

I would be fine with WWE firing him because of all this. I think a nice plus is that he definitely is a relic of the past and not the future. People will always play pranks - but JBL seems like he always went past a 'prank' from reading all the stuff he's done/said to people. I can't imagine the current crop of locker room leaders having much interest in "sociopathic torture", doesn't really seem like something AJ Styles, KO, Samoa Joe, Balor, Nakamura, Reigns, Rollins, Brock Lesnar, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, etc. would spend much time on. I think they are more likely to play video games than "bully" tbh.

Orton shitting in that diva's bag is probably the last thing someone from the Orton/Jericho/Cena generation did that would really be "too far" that we've heard about, and that was over a decade ago.

All of you are just afraid to break into JBL'S room and jerk off on his face.

Frank Drebin 04-09-2017 01:19 AM

Slik just copied Kenton Lane ' s post from the front page. Slik really losing spammy votes due to the blatant plagiarism.

......or maybe it was the other way around.....That Kenton Lane is a monster. A veritable creature of the night.

New, young guys (who are physically weaker than a 6'6 300 pound wrestler) probably are afraid of retaliating because they don't want to lose their job since JBL was known to be very close with McMahon. In a lot of cases, you have to just put up with the torment or potentially risk losing your "dream job" in WWE.

In some new interview, John Morrison says he was only able to finally stand up to JBL's bullying after he was a big established star in WWE.

What? No, dude. Two wrongs don't make a right. As difficult as it is, I try to do as I believe I should and turn the other cheek when I feel as though I have been wronged.

Shisen Kopf 04-09-2017 10:26 AM

Instead of just taking the bullying, they should hire the A Team to make JBL see the error of his ways.

Frank Drebin 04-09-2017 10:40 AM

Right, and they will do it by jerking off on his face all at the same time.

i dunno feel like im talking to people whove never been in any locker ever. This starts as hazing. Always. One guy is a spazz about instead of being cool about it (like every guy in the locker room that isnt currently being ribbed went through prior) and then it just escalates because they're weakness is exposed. Im good with it. If you cant thrive in that kind of environment thats unfortunate. Put your notice in, it isnt going to change.

Not feeling sorry for guys with no spine. Itll change in time though, there will only be beta males left in 20 years or so.

Frank Drebin 04-09-2017 12:16 PM

So, if you were in a foreign country and one of your teammates/colleagues stole your passport that's just a good ol' ribbing, right?

Destor 04-09-2017 12:26 PM

Haha thats pretty good. Did JBL do that? Id have been so hot.

Frank Drebin 04-09-2017 12:33 PM

Alright, Ill be serious for a minute.....you want to use "ribbing" or "light hazing" on your team or in your organization? It has to make the place better. If Vince thinks it makes WWE better, welp, he's the boss I guess. Not sure that tip toeing the line on multiple hostile work environment lawsuits is a good idea and that doing so makes the organization better but that's just me.

Look at the "hazing" the Chicago Cubs do with their players and how it affected the culture of the organization. That's what it should look like. Notice the difference. The Cubs make it visible and everyone does it and has fun with it where Vince/JBL isolate people and subject only that person to whatever they deem "fun" and keep it to themselves. Totally opposite ways of going about a similar practice with, predictably, different results.

I've been in a locker room. And hazing definitely made me stronger. I'm just empathetic and sensitive.

......... or a bitch I guess.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Ol Dirty Dastard 04-09-2017 12:56 PM

I remember there was this nasty guy Travis who could totally kick my ass. First year I played with him I was so scared of him and he treated me like shit. Nothing too bad, but LOL the whole team called me "freak" and "fat shady" and I never saw the field.

When 2 years later came and we were on the same team again, I still had to earn his respect but I just started telling him I would skull fuck him when he was being a dickhole. And just played decent rugby, and we were essentially equals by the end.

I get where you're coming from. But Beta's gotta make a living too. Plus, JBL is a dickhead.

#1-norm-fan 04-09-2017 01:01 PM

I think they need to make it into a storyline and have Dr. Shelby counsel him live on Raw and try to find out why he does the things he does. That should make part of that 3 hours fly by.

Also, good excuse to bring back Dr. Shelby.

Ol Dirty Dastard 04-09-2017 01:01 PM

That...would be amazing. I bet you JBL would actually be fun again.

Lock Jaw 04-09-2017 02:07 PM

Frank Drebin stole my passport and I had to sneak across the border to Canada (*sneaky finger thingie*)

So he is a big hypocrite.

Frank Drebin 04-09-2017 02:56 PM

It was f'n funny dude. Get over it.

Stickman 04-09-2017 03:22 PM

I have been in many locker rooms and yes there are guys who like amping up other guys by light hazing and whatnot but will go to war for that guy he is picking on. Kind of like a big brother situation, typically a team building scenario. From the sounds of itJBL is just a bully. He doesn't seem to bring the locker room together he seems to seperate it. Huge difference between what teams do and what JBL does, if you can't see thwt, you are probably a bully yourself.

Ol Dirty Dastard 04-09-2017 03:26 PM

Funny though because Destor does not come across as such. Just a contrarian tbh.

My Final Heaven 04-09-2017 04:39 PM

Didn't Steve Blackman lay out JBL back in the day after he tried to fuck with him? Jesus, at least do your homework if you decide to break in some of the new pledges

Stealing a guy's passport (or getting someone else to do it) while you're on a trip to a foreign country isn't even bullying. It's just being a dickhead.

Just because something was traditional doesn't make it right. Jim Crow was traditional until Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat.

It's about evolution. It's not survival of the fittest it's survival of the smartest. JBL is a relic and it's time for him to be fired like Bill DeMot was.

Destor 04-09-2017 07:44 PM

And and entire generation agrees with you. I think what we have is worse than what we had. You call it evolved i call devolved.

Swiss Ultimate 04-09-2017 07:56 PM

A culling is inevitable.

It would be awesome if it started with wrestling.

GD 04-09-2017 08:59 PM

Meltzer is on fire as of late. He has taken this issue personally.

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-09-2017 09:08 PM

Yep, he has consistently put over Mauro as top announcer in the game for years even before he hit it big.
