It's that time of the year again, TPWW.

It's September. Summer TV is wrapping up, and the Fall shows are about to get underway.

As always, this is the thread is which we discuss what we're gonna try watching, which shows we're getting back into, and, of course, we guess which show gets cancelled first.

Among some of the shows, we got:

MacGyver getting the reboot treatment at CBS.

Lethal Weapon goes from the big screen to the small screen.

Kiefer "Solid Snake Jack Bauer" Sutherland becomes the unexpected POTUS.

The Blacklist getting a spin-off.

I think a time travel show or two?

New comedy shows.

Insert horror/vampire based show here.

Hayley Atwell in a new show called Conviction on ABC. Don't know what it's about but I'm a fan of her so I'll watch it.

Very much looking forward Kiefer Sutherland being back on my TV.

I'm a fan of her, but am bitter over losing Agent Carter, so I don't know if I'll give it a chance...... maybe if it does lower than Agent Carter they will cancel it and revive Carter......


My plate of shows is pretty full..... don't know if I can fit anymore..... already too many.....

I never watched the last few episodes of Blindspot season one, so maybe I won't and then subsequently won't watch season two.....

Just wish it was the 24 "reboot" instead

Also Timeless sort of reminds me of Sliders

Grimm ends with the upcoming season.

Better Things starts tonight on FX. Its Pamela Adlon's show which is supposedly similar to Louie which makes sense since he helped create the Show and she has been on both of his shows.

Speaking of Louie..his shows indefinite hiatus pissed me off

I believe Gotham is back n the 17th

Watch Maron if you haven't already. Kinda a similar show except for the weird out of reality scenes of Louie.

The Good Place seems like a spiritual successor to Dead Like Me ever so kinda sorta.

Intrigued by Kiefer's new show

Commercials seem dumb..... Designated Survivor..... seems dumb name/premise......

Going to give Lethal Weapon a try. Hope its better than the Rush Hour show.

Randomly watched new sitcom "Speechless"....... has potential maybe.... might watch again.....

Watched "Son of Zorn" and it seemed "not funny at all"......

watching The Exorcist first episode, so far so good

I enjoyed Bull and Designated Survivor. Still have to watch Kevin Can Wait premiere.

Loved The Goldbergs doing The Breakfast Club

Didn't like Son of Zorn either. I liked Lethal Weapon pretty well and have set it to record on the DVR. McGyver was ok, I'll give it another chance but haven't set the DVR for it yet. Going to give the Timeless show a try when it premieres on October 3rd.

Will continue to watch Designated Survivor. Kinda think the first episode should have been longer. Too much to happen in 40 minutes.

Haven't seen the 2nd son of Zorn episode but I thought the first one was funny enough to dvr it.

Zorn will probably not survive cause it's way too weird. Decent though.

Watched the first episodes of the Good Place. Love that Ted Danson is back doing comedy instead of CSI bullshit.

This Is Us gets an 18 episode order.

The Strain will end with season 4.

I just couldnt get into The Strain. Seemed really campy to me.

Mid way through The Exorcist episode 1. I like it. Cept Gena Davis' face has gone to absolute shit.

I did the same thing. I liked Rush Hour, but apparently I was in the minority. Lethal Weapon seems on par with it.....

Archer boss man Adam Reed says season 10 will be it's last.

Damn. Last season wasn't all that good anyway since they had to drop the ISIS name. Still funny though I just didn't like the switch from secret agents to private investigators.

Grabbed the news from IGN.

But according to Reed, he was gonna end it at season 8. But, he got some new ideas/material planned and he's stretching out to season 10.

Timeless wasn't that great. I think it tried to hard to be serious when it's a show about time travel. I'll probably keep watching but I saw ratings weren't great and I figure they probably won't get better so I dunno.

Designated Survivor gets a full season order. Nice. I'm enjoying it so far.

Writers must have Swiss Cheese Brain. The viewers will send this to he'll with the Evil Leaper Female Al.

Timeless was just alright to me. Nothing really interesting just yet. I'll keep watching though to see how it goes.

I might keep watching Conviction because Halee Atwell is making my penis dance like a little jew boy in The Sound of Music.

The Exorcist is really good too. I'm watching the second episode now.

Though i cant tell if the dad is suppose to be retarded or what. Like they treat him like a retard but he seems just fine.

I had to google a synopsis to find out what was wrong with the dad.....it's a weird character to say the least.

But the actor is the guy from Farris Buehlers Day off. The friend. And he's pretty damn good in this and i've always loved that guy.

Halt & Catch Fire over at AMC got renewed for a 4th and final season.

Renewals:

CBS gives Bull, MacGyver (2.0), and Kevin Can Wait full season orders.

Amazon renews Bosch for a 4th season before season 3 starts.

Really digging Designated Survivor.

Blindspot is still awesome as well.

And the band geek in me loves "Clash of the Corps" on Fuse. The Rock's production company is making this show.

Have a lot of episodes of Blindspot on my DVR, including the last few episodes of season 1...... just never watched them....... dunno...... might give it up..... was an "alright" show, but feel like I have "too many shows already".........

Bill Simmons' Any Given Wednesday over on HBO got cancelled.

Any bets on who's the next network to give him a deal?

Duck Dynasty has been cancelled over at A&E. It'll end after this season.

Ok. So a few new ones.

Syfy renews Z-Nation.

Showtime cancels Masters of Sex.

CW cancels Reign.

Strike Back. Originally finished. Is getting the revival treatment over on Cinemax. However, it's getting a whole new cast.

Netflix renews Luke Cage for season 2.

However, the big news today is their first cancellation. Macro Polo is finished. Between the 2 seasons $200 million dollars spent.

24 changed their Facebook page to 24 Legacy. Making it look like the new show is popular af.

Starz cancels Blunt Talk. Season finale only brought in 134,000 viewers.

The show was unfunny

Disney cancels Girl Meets World after 3 seasons.

CW renews 7 shows. It's 4 superhero shows, Supernatural, Jane the Virgin, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Their other shows are up in the air.

Holy shit. Girl Meets World was doing phenomenal in the ratings last year. It was kicking Smackdowns ass when it was on Friday nights.

The rumors true as Will & Grace is coming back to TV. NBC has ordered a 10-episode order to start next season. And, the original cast is all on board.

TNT renews Good Behavior for a 2nd season, and Major Crimes for a reduced 13-episode 6th season.

Portlandia is coming to an end over at IFC. 8th and final season starts in 2018.

Fox picks up Lucifer for a 3rd season.

All of the Shondaland shows over at ABC get picked up for another season.

Thumbs up at renewing Lucifer..... feel like I am constantly dreading it's cancellation, and that it was a nice surprise when it was picked up for more seasons.

Anyone else been watching Taboo on FX with Tom Hardy? Was slow starting but is pretty good.

Yeah. But I'm hoping it's not just a 1 season thing.

Has a one season feeling to it but yeah I'd be down for more.

Out of all the new shows this season the only two I have stuck with so far are

American Housewife-I loved Katy Mixon on Eastbound and Down. And the rest of the cast is great.

Powerless-Went into this just knowing it was set in the DC universe. And after 2 episodes it has already entertained me more than Arrow ever has.

Powerless been growing on me over its three episodes, but I still think it is going to be a sure cancellation.

Didn't catch the pilot of Powerless but have seen everything since and haven't really been impressed. Pretty much just Community/The Office in a super hero world. Cast is alright but it's just to cheeky for my taste.

You guys better check out Legion. It's pretty wild.

Yeah been watching Legion, it good.

Got the first 2 episodes of Legion to watch. Just haven't yet. For me Powerless is fun. But I haven't been a fan of most of the live action DC stuff. Well outside of Constantine. Arrow is just badly written and isn't Green Arrow but Batman with a bow. Flash was decent in the first season,outside of how horrible Danielle Panabaker is. But went to total shit in season 2. Supergirl is decent but nothing I will watch often.

Didn't really like Constantine.

I watched the first episode of Legion and it was pretty "out there"..... have the second sitting on my DVR waiting to be watched.....

I loved Constantine. But I am a bit biased since he is also one of my favorite comic book characters. But then my lady,who had never read any comics with Constantine in them,also loved the show.

Ep 2 of Legion was pretty damn good. The show is shaping up to be pretty damn good.

CBS cancels Doubt after 2 episodes. Nobody really likes Katherine Heigl.

FOX renews Star, Lethal Weapons, and The Mick for another season.

E! renews The Royals for a 4th season.

History Channel renews Six for a 2nd season.

Poor Dule Hill. That's messed up.

Watched The Blacklist: Redemption last night.

Not digging the plot, but the cast is alright. Love me some Terry O'Quinn and Famke Jannsen.

I'll give it another chance, but I ain't expecting much.

Syfy cancels Incorporated after 1 season. It had Ben Affleck & Matt Damon backing it.

FX gives Feud a 2nd season before the 1st even begins. They announced it will focus on the end of Princess Diana & Prince Charles' marriage.

FX renews Taboo for an 8-episode 2nd season, and Baskets for a 3rd season.

Showtime renews Billions for a 3rd season.

CW gives The 100 a 5th season.

FX renews Legion for a 2nd season.

SyFy gives 12 Monkeys a 4th and final season.

CBS renews the bulk of its programming. Show still on the bubble: The Great Indoors, 2 Broke Girls, Code Black, The Odd Couple, Criminal Minds (original & spin-off), and Elementary.

Lucifer gets this season's order chopped by 4 episodes. But, those 4 episodes will be tacked on to season 3. Making it longer than a usual TV season.

AMC renews Humans for 10-episode 3rd season.

CMT renews Nashville for a 6th season.

SyFy give The Magicians a 3rd season.

Fear the Walking Dead will return for a 4th season.

Some sad news for any Star Wars cartoon fans. Star Wars Rebels 4th season will be it's last.

The big news of today is that Mulder & Scully are still chasing the truth. Fox gives The X-Files a 10 episode 11th season.

I believe Star Wars Rebels is ending "on purpose", though..... not a "cancellation"....

I need to watch it.......

Yeah rebels has run its course. Strong rumor next animated show will take place between Jedi and a force awakens.

NBC pulls Powerless from its schedule. Still has some episodes left to air.

Big news today is that AMC renews Into the Badlands AND increased its episode count. Gives it a 16 episode 3rd season.

I was starting to like Powerless..... was enjoying it.....

I mean, I knew that it was very obviously getting cancelled.....

Still.... was growing on me and I'd say that I was enjoying it and will be sad to see it go.....

It was getging better but yeah, could tell that ur was getting cancelled after the first episode. The comedy was growing on me and surprised me at times with some of the language they would use.

Badlands is shocking and i must say i disapprove. Honestly i want it to be 6 eps. Lean. No filler. Love the show.

I'll wait and see, but yeah.... seems like a longer season might lead to lots of "filler", and maybe "less good" fight scenes.....

Usually at least one good fight each episode right now.....

16 huge elaborate action sequences a year is a lot...

Quinn would probably have just spent 7 episodes in his bunker and then emerge for one big fight scene in episode 8.

Kinda how id like it but i dont think he survives the finale
