Yeah, it's not that big of a deal, surely.

Thor cutting hair is like Black Bolt joining the Opera

Sixx 08-20-2016 01:02 PM

i can't believe we're having this conversation again

Fignuts 08-20-2016 01:18 PM

Thor without hair, is like batman without a cape.

Lock Jaw 08-20-2016 01:31 PM

Batman has had some badass moments without a cape

All depends on the story here. If Thor just cuts his hair "just because", it is bad...... but if his hair is cut against his will because he is stuck on a gladiatorial planet fighting The Hulk, then I will accept it....

see, batman had some moments without a cape. thor never had a buzzcut. long hair is one of his trademarks. this is really a terrible idea.

Yeah, I mean that's fine.

But as a hardcore thor fan, it's my job to overeact and complain without even knowing the context of the decision.

I thought I remembered some Thor or other having short hair for awhile.... (Ultimate Thor maybe? I dunno, I never read it)

Sixx 08-20-2016 02:10 PM

nah, ultimate thor sometimes had a ponytail.

Fignuts 08-20-2016 02:13 PM

Ultimate thor had his hair burned off in ultimates 2, but it fit the whole downfall adpect of the story. He was meant to look pathetic, and humiliated.

Rammsteinmad 08-20-2016 02:15 PM

Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind seeing Thor with short in the comics. I did a quick google search and couldn't find anything to show it's happened before, would be a refreshing little change, and it's hair, for Christ's sake it's not exactly a permanent change. I think it'd look pretty badass and I could imagine him "returning" or some nonsense in the middle of a huge end-of-the-world battle and have Wasp or someone be like "hey, I like the new look" or something.

I think I might just be thinking of Triple H

Damian Rey 2.0 08-20-2016 02:19 PM

It's just hair fellas. Sounds like it could be used to add another layer to his character. I like the idea.

lol seriously

Did you really think thats legit?

Fignuts 08-20-2016 02:43 PM

You can see the "baby's first photoshop" shading ffs

Lock Jaw 08-20-2016 02:48 PM

I don't think he was claiming it was real. He just said he couldn't find anything from the comics, but wouldn't mind seeing it. He then posted some fan art of what Thor with short hair could look like.

Rammsteinmad 08-20-2016 02:51 PM

Yeah, LJ's spot on. I probably should have mentioned that. :y:

Lock Jaw 08-20-2016 02:56 PM

I don't know how anyone could take it any other way

Corporate CockSnogger 08-20-2016 04:51 PM

This is a terrible idea

Kalyx triaD 08-20-2016 11:39 PM

I don't mind.

Nicky Fives 08-24-2016 10:37 AM

use it as a storyline.... bad guy chops off his hair to emasculate him, Thor vows revenge... Seems very basic.

Kalyx triaD 08-24-2016 03:17 PM

There's a few set pics showing Thor, Loki, and Odin
SPOILER: show
on earth dressed as normal people.

so i guess if we do see him with short hair, he's gonna cut it/lose it during the movie.

Fignuts 10-30-2016 06:53 AM

As long as there is an explanation for it, I'm alright with it.

Kalyx triaD 10-30-2016 04:22 PM

Valkyrie!!!

Sixx 10-30-2016 05:58 PM

this thread title kinda bothers me.

Fignuts 10-31-2016 12:40 AM

Why?

Lock Jaw 10-31-2016 01:06 AM

Prob because of "Ragnorak"
