I still don't understand how you are calling the Patriots for little girls for looking into this, when you yourself posted a clip and asked "If this legit I am gonna be pissed"

Why wouldn't they want to investigate it? It's not like they brought all this up during the post-game press conference or something.

What's worse? Investigating a random decrease in sound or complaining to the NFL about an uncovered field?

Either way, the Cowboys are not going to get him because the Browns are good this year and Jerry Jones was made to look like a complete twatstain for making that awful trade in the draft.

On a related issue, Marion Barber is not an every down back, contrary to what many people want. He's most effective in the role he is in right now, which is as a tough change of pace back who gets 10-15 carries a game, and his production would decline if they gave him the ball more often than not. So, the Cowboys really do need another running back to even things out back there. Julius Jones does a fine job of that, but either way, the Cowboys are going to need a Julius Jones-like running back along with Marion Barber.

Agreed. I was almost certain we'd land MdFadden next year but fucking Cleveland decided to be good this year. And the fact that the Pats might draft top 5 makes me sick. But ah well..I guess we could look for secondary help now and even a WR.

SammyG 11-07-2007 01:20 AM

I'd say there about the same

BTW, i call them little girls cause i want to start shit with you guys. Thats pretty much always my motivation, but i also think the Patriots are the last people to start pointing fingers at other people for cheating.

What else was proven? What was proven about past seasons? Give it a rest. You're just looking for an excuse to try to bring down one of the greatest team performances in the history of the sport. You're jealous its not your team. You know this, or else you wouldn't give a shit about what happened.

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ? Jealous? We're the Superbowl champions you dumb dick sucker. Why the fuck am i jealous? They've played 9 games and your talking about one of the greatest team performances in the history of sports? Are you fucking mental? BTW, i've never once said that them cheating had anything to do with them being good this season. Learn to read retard.

Yes i'm jealous. I'm jealous that they beat us in a REGULAR SEASON GAME ( remember this conversation 2 years ago sTiMa34 and VEL??? thats right its only regular season remember.. It dont matter remember??? )

We're the fucking Superbowl champs. You wanna crown there asses then CROWN them, but you better show up when we fucking work there shit up and down Foxboro in the snow and go to the Superbowl.

Until they win the fucking Superbowl, i'd stfu cause they arent as good as every acts like they are and if we did have Harrison, Gonzales, Ugoh, maybe our starting linebackers, it would have been a blow out.

I hate to break it to you guys, but we gave you the fucking game. Ofcourse you cant let a team like them hang like that and expect to win. Cause thats what Brady will do. He's that damn good. We had 3 redzone drives that ended in 2 field goals. Gonzales dropped a touchdown pass because of dislocated thumb. Reggie Wayne dropped a 60 yard touchdown pass because he was being stupid..i dunno.

Dont fucking act like you're so much fucking better cause when the playoffs come around and we do have Harrison and Ugoh, we'll push your fucking shit in Mexican style.

Regular season dont matter remember?

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-07-2007 10:44 AM

Yeah I don't know why you brought me up there, did I say anywhere that this was the biggest game ever or anything? I don't think I did. It was just week 9 (which is exactly what I said before the game started) I'd rather see them win than lose obviously, but it's not like they just won the Superbowl on Sunday. I just think its funny how you claim to be classy (lol - who cares if you are though, you have no impact on the game/the Colts) and not have sour grapes but then start to call the Patriots little girls because are investigating a suspect sound decrease during the broadcast.

I don't know why I waste my time trying to talk about this shit with you though, I didn't realize you where on the Krispy mindset 'I'm just trying to start shit' I guess people can't discuss sports when their favorite team is involved, its like 4th grade all over again when being dumb is cool or something.

VonErichLives 11-07-2007 11:25 AM

RP - you're right, it was just a regular season game. What makes it big and always does with these two is it typically decides the #1 and #2 playoff spots and the Patriots have difficulty playing in Indy and Indy has trouble playing in NE (especially if it's the usual mid/late december weather in new england).

But it is still just regular season, and didn't take either team out of the playoffs.

That being said, you're making excuses for a regular season game you really don't care about... "injuries" and "dropped pass" and "we gave you the game", you can say that about anyone who loses. "They gave the game away" yeah, by not winning.

The Pats have had injuries over the years, sometimes then win, sometimes they lose... but we never use the injuries as an excuses like you're trying to.

Maybe last year if we had Harrison, Maybe if the Refs didn't call pass interferance on Ellis Hobbs which the NFL later apologized for that it was a bad call, maybe if Reche Caldwell knew how to catch... see, we can both play this game... but it's the NFL you play with the team you have.

What you need to worry about is not dropping another game, because then instead of that week 1 bye and homefield advantage, you could be going to Pittsburg the 2nd round of the playoffs, which weather wise ain't much better then New England that time of year.

and last of course everyone is talking about this Pats team as being great, they're undefeated which always starts the "can they go 16-0" crap, and they're set to smash some offensive records, and to top it off they just beat the regining super bowl champs on their homefield. So yeah, that's why everyone is talking Pats.

RP 11-07-2007 11:46 AM

You already played that game dumb ass. Thats why i typed that shit. The threads are still on the forum. People can go back and read about all your BS.

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2007 03:36 PM

Saints have played two awesome games in a row, which I missed both of, b/c of work.. Brees finnally has his stride back and Reggie has been carrying the load nicely without Deuce.. O-line is clicking and the WR's are catching balls for a change.. D-backs still get beat but the front seven have been playing great..

Anyway, I can't wait for Sunday.. If you guys remember the last meeting between us and the (ass)Rams, Mike Furrey pretty much won the game by snatching the ball from a DOWN Ernie Conwell, while Conwell was on the ground, holding the ball up, showing the ref he made a first down catch, during a last drive..

NFL.com has it as

"Last meeting
On Oct. 23, 2005, the Rams got a 67-yard interception return for a touchdown from defensive back Mike Furrey (now a wide receiver for the Lions) to knock off the visiting Saints, 28-"17."

Horrible, horrible game..

I can't wait for Sunday..

Here's to 12-4..

WHO DAT??

SammyG 11-07-2007 03:46 PM

You're retarded if you think you're gonna go 12-4. You're going 9-7 max. And I would not be suprised if we beat you on Sunday.

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2007 04:12 PM

lol

r u serious

We put up 450 yards on a stout AFC D.. No way y'all are going to beat us..

The only game I'm worried about is the Bucs.. Every other team left on our scheduel has key injuries and/or not near playing up to their potential.. If we play like we did the past two weeks, we could easily beat every team left this year..

Tell me which three of those teams are going to beat us??

p.s. we are favored by like 14 FYI..

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2007 05:29 PM

Sorry, I was mistaken, it was 538 total yards on offense, not 450..

No team has beaten teams (up until the Colts) like they have, seems pretty great to me.

I think you're jealous the Colts aren't getting recognition like the Patriots do. Sure everyone recognizes the Colts as good, but I think you're jealous of the fact that the Colts are the defending champs and people talk about the Pats more.

lol @ the rest

Jeritron 11-07-2007 07:56 PM

It's not even worth arguing to me. There's no comparison really. Yes they're the second best team and give us the hardest run for our money, and they won the superbowl once (after a game we clearly blew, just saying).
The Patriots have and continue to have The Colts beat as the greatest team of the past 15 years.
And to be honest, The Patriots are on route to become the best of all time. If they aren't already.
I think it's annoying and frustrating to the Patriots when this isn't recognized, or the national media markets The Colts and Manning.
Think about it, they had the longest winning streak of all time.
They won 3 superbowls in 4 years, with impressive seasons afterwards.
They're on track to quite possibly winning a 4th.
They could go 16-0 for the second time in history, with far more authority and an eventual 19-0 which beats 17-0

OssMan 11-07-2007 08:15 PM

can't wait till Brady breaks mannings TD record, wins league MVP and another super bowl ring.

Then I'll love to hear RP's argument of how Manning is the better QB.

Kris P Lettus 11-07-2007 09:29 PM

Truthfully, I think either of them could be better than the other any given Sunday.. Brady is on a streak now and his supporting cast are all playing great football ATM..

RoXer 11-07-2007 09:29 PM

Hey nice, I'm going to the Cards game this week.

But, it's the Lions...:-\

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-07-2007 11:31 PM

Lions are nice

SammyG 11-08-2007 01:39 AM

So ur implying that ur gonna lose, right Roxer?

RoXer 11-08-2007 01:48 AM

Who? No. What?

SammyG 11-08-2007 02:00 AM

If you're playing the Lions, you are losing.

Ninti the Mad 11-08-2007 08:47 AM

TANK JOHNSON

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-08-2007 09:55 AM

Good pick up for Dallas, he is coming really cheap and will be a good fit for their defense. I heard something about his contract where if he does fuck up they can just completely cut ties with him and be done with it.

Just a random thought...where do you guys think Derek Anderson will be playing next season?

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2007 10:51 AM

I wish the Saints had gone after Johnson.. I mean, even with his off field drama he is a dominant interior lineman who good at both stopping the run and pass rushing..

Derek Anderson is playing very well.. If I were the Browns GM I'd try to keep him and Quinn.. Prolly even start him over Quinn next year just to ride the momentum.. I was never that impressed with Quinn at ND.. He's aiight but without WR like Samarja (sp) he wouldn't have had near the numbers he did.. He was a mediocre QB at a big football school, with a good line and WR corps.. If they don't keep Anderson, I see him going somewhere like the Phins or the Vikings..

SammyG 11-08-2007 11:28 AM

He doesn't have that bad of a WR core in Cleveland...

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2007 11:34 AM

I understand that but he never impressed me at ND.. And with the way Anderson is playing, why fix what aint broke??

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-08-2007 06:01 PM

San Diego did it.....as did the Bengals, I can't see them sticking with Anderson over Quinn, just because of how the business of the NFL works

However, I'm not sure how big Quinn's contract is, he was a late first rounder so they might able to hold onto both. The Packers have done that thus far

Kris P Lettus 11-08-2007 06:07 PM

"Big Baby" Charles Grant is not gonna play Sunday due to his ankle still being sore.. He could play but they'd rather sit him and allow the ankle to get healthy, than having him keep playing hurt..

SammyG 11-08-2007 09:22 PM

Little is out for the season :)

The Packers starting QB is also Brett Favre. That might have something to do with it.

McLegend 11-08-2007 09:43 PM

I would just like to say Brady Quinn had a terrible offensive live at Notre Dame.

DrA 11-08-2007 10:05 PM

I like Derek Anderson, just for the fact that he was considered trash on a trash team until just a couple of weeks ago. He has really stepped up his game, and if I were Cleveland, I would keep this guy over Quinn. But that isn't going to happen, and I feel that he would be a nice pick up a team like Baltimore or Chicago who needs a boost at that position. He has that Tony Romo feel to him: a no name who was finally given a chance and now is doing well because of it.

RP 11-09-2007 12:10 AM

Derek Anderson is for real. He's better then Manning this year for sure. I think he's a top 3 QB right now. I cant see how you bench that guy for Quinn. Quinn isnt guaranteed to be a great QB. He could be pretty average. Anderson is only a few years older. He has a heck of a career ahead of him. The Browns would be absolute morons to get rid of him.

RP 11-09-2007 12:11 AM

I actually thing Anderson has more of Brady feel then Romo. I think the Browns are really dangerous this year. Anderson is the real deal.

Supreme Olajuwon 11-09-2007 01:35 AM

Anderson is only 24 so as long as this doesn't end up being a fluke season for him the Browns would be insane to give Quinn the starting job

although if any team was going to do it, shouldn't it be Cleveland
