Where? Damn you! :D

Mercenary 12-24-2016 11:08 PM

It's called my mom, and Christmas

El Vaquero de Infierno 12-25-2016 06:48 AM

You are able to buy old school Megadrives with pre-installed games like Sonic, etc. A person at work was eyeing one up.

Droford 12-25-2016 09:31 PM

Its funny I've seen the Sega Genesis system with 80 games built in plus Mortal Kombat 1-3 for $10 stacked 10 high no one buying it but this is selling like crazy..I don't get it

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-25-2016 09:45 PM

its only got yellow and white cord.

Droford 12-25-2016 09:52 PM

How much better can 8 bit graphics look over an HDMI cable lol

Droford 12-25-2016 09:53 PM

Plus the one I saw was portable like the game gear

Game Gear was a better system and lost the battle too.

This is a sad day but I agree with Droford. No reason the classic nintendo should be as popular as it is. Hell, if they made it so games could be imported later via Internet or USB port I would sign up but that didn't happen.

These are fucking garbage. Bought one for my son when he was into Sonic 2-3 years ago. The sound is all distorted and the majority of the games are indy bullshit titles. That is why no one is buying them.

NES officially backed theirs and made it, so everything is "original". Still though, emulator with controller support is the way to go. IF they enable this device to go online and add to the library, then it would be worth it.

Droford 12-26-2016 11:12 AM

That might explain why they were at the closeout store for $10

Because assholes go to stores and buy every last one, which then they all get sold on eBay and other places online for obscene profits. It's disgusting.

Proof I'm not just talking out of my ass:

drave 12-26-2016 06:26 PM

Move to China, where you are put to death for something like that or something.

drave 12-26-2016 06:26 PM

Besides Damn Man, spend your hard earned money on somethin else. Your PC is perfectly capable of running NES, SNES, N64 and probably Wii games - RIGHT NOW.

Exactly. Plus you can spend like 4 dollars per nes game on the Wii/Wii U.

drave 12-26-2016 06:45 PM

Now, they NEED to do this with the SNES....

Chrono Trigger
Super Mario World (any of them tbh)
Super Mario RPG
Secret of Evermore
Super Metroid
Super Castlevania IV
F-Zero
Super Punch Out!
Zelda: A Link to The Past
Earthbound
Contra III The Alien Wars
Mortal Kombat II
Megaman X or X2
Lufia II: Rise of the Sinstrals

Sure there are quite few more, those are some of the timeless classics I could still play today.

SlickyTrickyDamon 12-26-2016 06:59 PM

Stores need to put a limit on how many people can buy at once.

drave 12-26-2016 07:57 PM

No, they don't, SlickyTrickyCommie.

Sepholio 12-26-2016 08:27 PM

Drave....your list of snes games....so horny rn. You said Lufia 2. You even knew the subtitle. Me love u loooooong time.

Now add Seiken densestu 3, terranigma, and treasure hunter g with English translations.

Ruien 12-26-2016 10:51 PM

Secrete of Mana and Final Fantasy get no love?

Sepholio 12-26-2016 11:32 PM

Seiken densestu 3 is secret of mana 2 that never got released outside of Asian markets. It's an incredible game.

Didn't mention ff as I already own every one of them and they keep getting rereleased on newer systems anyways.

A.) I never said I wanted one of those things, just letting people know about how shit is going down. As Rich says in his video, Nintendo are purposely contributing to the problem by giving 2-3 units to stores and as a result, the stores sell out of them in record time.

B.)I use an Android tablet w/version 6.0.1. I had to replace my old one, so my father made it my Christmas gift this year...under $40, too (before tax). Also got usual $25 gift card from my bro for GS, which works well for me, and got PS3 copy of WWE 2K17 just yesterday, and spent < $20 after the gift card, so all in all it was a great Christmas. I'm a man of simple pleasures.

Also, it seems you forgot the GameCube was a thing. I had some good times with mine playing WM XIX and the Day of Reckoning games. Also had NBA Courtside 2002, Crazy Taxi, and Super Smash Bros. Melee that I can recall. I loved the portability of the machines size and the mini-discs.

Nintendo pretty much did that by not making enough to start with.

Probably on purpose so that everyone would talk about Nintendo.

Fignuts 12-27-2016 07:49 PM

Think you kind of missed the point there, Drofolopogus.

Droford 12-28-2016 11:28 AM

If Nintendo supplied enough it wouldn't be a priblem. no one would want to buy more than 1 because there woukd be no resale market which only existed because Nintendo didn't make enough .

Big Vic 12-28-2016 11:51 AM

Friend got the Sega one, its cool and not all of the arcade games are bad. Sonic music is a bit off and the level select cheat did not seem to work.

Bad thing about it is the Arcade doesn't save scores and the controller doesn't work unless you are pointing right at it.

Outside of some really sure hits mostly in regards to games, Nintendo has been really stingy with production ever since the Gamecube era. Got burned big time because Microsoft ate a lot more of their marketshare than Sony's at the time.

Think it was only very recently they finally got around to adding another manufacturer company in order to boost their production. Even then it might be till the Switch's launch that the real increase capabilities ends up showing for them.

The hype for this thing was through the roof. There was never going to benearly enough, no matter how many Nintendo made. Stores need to pay better attention to demand for upcoming products. Years ago they used to be better at this, but now they don't even care. Just want to sell as much as possible as quickly as possible.

LOL, both sides pay plenty of attention to demand. Problem is they don't give a fuck because Nintendo purposely under-produces units and under-sells the number of units to each store, and Nintendo and all the stores rake in huge $$$$$$$$$ while outrage begins once their collusion gets exposed and they all turn a blind eye so they can continue their profiteering ways.

#BROKEN Hasney 01-07-2017 11:32 AM

They're hacked so you can add up to 60 games now. Now I want one.

Their last two systems, Wii U and 3DS, were overstocked. That costs them money so they went cautious on these. Once demand was high, you can't just flick a switch and produce more, you have to book time in to the assembly lines in China.

Mercenary 01-08-2017 04:57 PM

Hacked up yes, but be careful . You could brick it making it inoperable

WiiU was not overstocked at the start though. They lost alot of steam not having enough to match demand. I remember seeing a set up for it for months without any stock around it at my local Target.

#BROKEN Hasney 01-08-2017 06:23 PM

There was never any reported Wii U shortages. Must have been a store that sold out and didn't restock for a while. We were mocking scalpers showing pics of cars full of them and then selling for under RRP.

Weirdly, the DS wasn't hard to find at launch either. It wasn't until the Lite model that thing went into overdrive.

Ruien 01-08-2017 06:48 PM

What see the 60 hacked games? How hard is it to hack?

Not sure how hard it is nor does it look to tell all the games added
