Yeah, can't wait for tomorrow. Unfortunately, I will be out of town consistently on Wednesdays working evenings for pretty much the entire season. So I won't be able to watch Arrow until Thursdays.

Very disappointed in you.
Also there was a mention of Wayne Tech or Wayne Enterprises in this Pilot. It was probably just a throw away line that doesn't mean anything. However it does beg the question does Batman exist in this world? I feel like it's been hinted at in some interviews that he does exist. Nothing on screen though. So in short I don't know. I'm just interested. |
The acting and writing was especially awful. The story was entertaining. Some of the effects are really good, others... really not.
In short I thought it was OK but overly cheesy. Lots of room for improvement, though I think it can certainly do just that. |

Finding it kind of "creepy" Barry bonding with Detective West in a father/son manner, while wanting to bang Iris with whom he has had a brother/sister relationship.
Anyways, was thinking the entire episode "Cool, Simon Stagg.... he'll be a cool recurring character to have around, and could maybe lead one day to Metamorpho being on TV" So much for that. Also, hope that Multiplex isn't really dead. Can't keep killing off all the villains.... |
This is def a weekly villian thing going on, and I had the same thoughts about Iris too. Weird vibe despite the comic book history.
|
Yeah, I'm not a fan of all the killing either. I know that the rouges are a nice big group of villains to fight but they can't keep dying. They need to create 2-3 episode story arcs with some villains while others make a cameo here and there and get their own arc later. That is usually how the comics go. Then include a season long thing to wrap most of it up while leaving bread crumbs for the second season. In any case, I feel like the second episode was better than the first.
I could totally see some time changing things for season 2 where all of a sudden his mom gets saved and he and Iris don't grow up all brother/sister and they are free to date and stuff. |
Nothing stopping them from dating altogether, especially after Joe certainly bites it.
I love the 'detective's eye' thing they do. |
Felicity is on Flash tonight.
I'm ok if she gets with Barry tonight however the internet wrestling in me thinks they should hold off on until the cross over. |
Enjoyed Captain Cold.
Also Heat Wave coming too makes me happy. Felicity is always great as well. |
Much less cheese this episode, with a couple exceptions. It's getting better, which I thought it might.
Captain Cold was great. Really well done I thought. |
Definitely came off great, all the way down to the attire.
|
The Rouges are slowly coming together.
|
Need to hear Jimmy Cones' weekly thoughts on the matter....

Solid episode until the end. WTF a vacuum with LED lights? And they just let him walk off somewhere?
In any case, the rogues have been needing to come together and we finally have a story arc building. |
Cold was badass. Loved his face when Cisco gave him his name.
|
Telling Iris that he didn't want to hang out so much was weird. I liked the Grodd foreshadowing. Detective West getting all giggly over the vibrating vocal thing gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.
|
Yeah, that scene was wonderful.
|
Pretty good ep. Sorry to see Plastique go like that... Hopefully maybe she has an ability to reconstruct herself after dying and exploding.
She has been known to be part of the Suicide Squad, so would be cool if Waller somehow got a hold of her. |
I don't believe for a second Plastique is dead. I imagine she can survive her own blasts.
And I'm thinking Waller already has tabs on the meta-human occurrences. I think she'd like her own Gambit. |

Sure. Reveal your secret identity to the supervillain.
|
Yeah, there is no way he that can come back to hurt him.
The whole Tom Cavanagh plot is really fascinating. I need more of that. Also Arrow better beat Flash in the crossover or I riot. |
Motherfucker keeps showing his face to everyone. I like how Iris one-upped his Supersonic Punch.
|
I can't understand why a super villain would push a bunch of shelves over on his enemy and then not check to make sure he was dead. Other than that, it was another solid episode. I can't wait for some of the story arcs to start getting intermingled.
|
I hear things will pick up dramatically for the "midseason finale", especially because they didn't originally have a full season order.
|
Cavanaugh has to be Zoom, right?
|
Certainly leans that way.... I wonder what Eddie Thawne's "role" is...
Harrison Wells could be a Red Herring, and Thawne turns out to be the Reverse-Flash.... or maybe he is just an "ancestor" of Eobard Thawne. |
My theory...
Wells is indeed Eobard Thawne from the future. |
I think that Eddie will actually turn out to be the Reverse Flash, just atm he doesn't have his powers yet.

Lots of name dropping in those people who "died" from the particle accelerator.
Ralph Dibney Al Rothstein Grant Emmerson Bea Decosta May have been another... Plus Ronnie Raymond, who we know is coming back eventually. |

Motherfucker keeps showing his power off to everyone without his suit on.

Flash vs Arrow!
|
Wait did they show how they caught the bad guy?
I think that was a win for the Arrow btw. |
They skipped over how they caught the guy. Pretty weird. Basically just reduces him to a plot device to get them to fight.
|
My TV kind of blacked out at that point so I wasn't sure if it skipped over that part.
I thought the first part of the crossover went really well. Oliver's dickness was in rare form. Also I'm not the only one that kind of dislikes Iris am I? It definitely seems like she isn't suppose to be that like able. |
Wells was the real dick outing Oliver as the Arrow in front of everyone, when at first he didn't know, likely going into his secret room with all future news.
