Lol. Nice dig at Aqua Man.
|
Farts are funny
|
This show is for like 10 year olds? Will probably do well in theaters.
|
I mean it already looks more interesting than most of the DCU fare.
|
I know Teen Titans Go isn't aimed at my age group
That said I hate this fucking show with everything that I am. Cartoon Network may as well rename itself and Boomerang Titans TV 1 and Titans TV 2 Its THE reason I dropped cable |
Never watched the show......
I appreciate it as the "last vestige" of Cyborg's Teen Titans heritage...... |
This show is hilarious fuk yall fight me
|
Trailer amused me.....
As I said, never watched the show.... never watched the old "non-GO" Teen Titans show either...... Might check out this movie eventually, though...... |
Trailer made me chuckle. Wonderwoman but was good...dunno. fart jokes fit the target demo...shrug.
|
 at the Aquaman dig.
Watch a lot of this show because of my nephew and its decent overall for comedy. Although also understand why its despised by Teen Titan fans because of what happened to the original cartoon series. |
What happened? Wasn't it a good show?
|
Been rumored for years either CN abruptly wanted to go in a new direction for the series for toy sales and/or didn't like the demographics of the audience and wanted more kids/boys watching. Whatever was the reason, it resulted in GO replacing the original series in the end.
In regards to the audience rumor, they have cancelled a show or two before in recent years because it wasn't selling enough toys to boys or had too many female fans watching instead. |
Didn't GO come out a number of years after the original show was canceled/ended?
|
Yeah around 7 years later.
There are other rumors as well like Cartoon Network shifting focus at the time more towards shows they actually owned and away from shows they didn't own. Another involved a big dispute occurring between CN and Warner Bros during the final season causing CN to walk away from their deal. |
Apparently, the "toy and demographic" ratios also killed shows like Young Justice and the Masters of the Universe reboot along with the non-GO! Teen Titans. Both were awesome shows, but they just weren't pumping out the plastic merch like it was 1985, so they got canned in spite of being really, really good.
