WWE to produce TWO WrestleMania events in 2020

I don’t like the sound of this.

WrestleMania is going to have to start at the beginning of the month in order to fit the whole show in.
|
WWE should just be a continuous livestream
|
I mean, I'll watch it.

"THE TWO BIGGEST GRANDADDIES OF THEM ALL!"
"THE GRANDEST STAGES OF THEM ALL!" "THE SHOWCASES OF THE IMMORTALS!" |

Now just need to video tape them eating and sleeping. |
Every wrestler will wear a camera and it'll be a bit like the early days of Justin.TV
I look forward to seeing Braun Strowman in line at the post office |
If they go international, The UK is definitely overdue for a WM imo

Oh yeah, and 2 WM's is even dumber and more pointless than the already dumb and pointless 2nd Royal Rumble was. They won't, but Vince & co. need to learn that its not about quantity.
|
Somewhere out there, I bet there is someone that literally watches every minute of footage the WWE puts out.
|
Any other once prestigious things that they can water down until it's meaningless?

That's me!

Now in 2020 they can attempt to crown Roman Reigns twice as often. Speed that shit up.
|
Now when is the NFL gonna get on WWE's level of genius and start having 2 Super Bowls a every year and crown 2 champions?
|
The XFL will have three championships a year
The Detroit BIG DOGS must look strong, at all times |
Two WrestleMania's seem a bit much.
Having a second helping of one of the Big Four just kinda makes the PPV seem less important/meaningless. Kinda like Hell in a Cell and The Elimination Chamber (and I'm sure the Royal Rumble match soon). They become such a common occurrence that it loses all significance and prestige and the end result is that nobody makes such a big deal out of it because we all know we'll see it again within a year. I do however feel that this second WrestleMania would be for the UK. UK fans have been dying for a PPV for around fifteen years now and it's probably the last major area that the WWE hasn't ventured into with a PPV since Triple H was given the power he possesses today. If that is indeed the case and the UK get this second WrestleMania, then instead of using the WrestleMania name, why not just bring back Insurrextion or Rebellion or even create a completely new PPV altogether? Even though I'm saying all this, I'll most likely be trying my best to go anyway if this second WrestleMania is for the UK. It most likely would be London that gets it. Wembley Stadium to be precise, especially if it's going to be using the WrestleMania name. |

You caught me completely off guard with that. I actually forgot all about that until now. Those were simpler times. |

Also, I want a PPV within walking distance of my house. That would be handy. |
Don't get me wrong though, probably will be London.
London can sod off. |
Sounds terrible as an idea although it does fit the recent trend of them bloating things just for the sake of it. Before it was them running way too many PPVs and now its them making events longer in time. Even the roster is bloated because they keep signing way too many people.
A better idea would have been to hold Mania as a 2-day event like people speculated would eventually happen due to recent Manias getting longer in time. |

On the rare occasions that it's not London, then it's always either Manchester or Liverpool, because God forbid they go somewhere that the average American hasn't heard of. |
Then again, it just wouldn't sound right to hear Michael Cole saying "Welcome everyone to WrestleMania! Live from Hull!"

I guess one question about this, regardless of whether it is in the UK or another country, is whether it would have some of the other events that come with Wrestlemania, like Takeover and Axxess? |
The worst part of this is that there’s no incentive for WWE to stop oversaturating their own product because they’re making more money now than they ever have in their history and they will be absolutely rolling in it once the Fox deal commences.

I am fine if they brand it like "Super Wrestlemania" or "Wrestlemania UK" something like that but I really don't want it to be in the chronological order of the spring show.
|
Frankly, I think its great just for UK and the Aussies to finally get a mania calibre show.
|
Getting close to overkill at this point. I know they're about to be swimming in cash Scrooge McDuck style pretty soon, but you gotta draw the line somewhere.
You got/had the Super Rumble in Saudi Arabia. The special happening in Australia in a few weeks. Might as well swing for the fences and just resurrect Taboo Tuesday, Cyber Sunday, or one of the other gimmick PPVs. |

It feels more likely this second Wrestlemania will be in Saudi Arabia as apart of the soul selling deal they made with that backwards ass mind fuck of a country. The US is fucked up too obviously.

Why do these reports keep saying NXT is gonna on in Fox Sports?
Do they honestly think if WWE sold NXT broadcasting rights they wouldn't have announced it and watch the stock go when higher. The fact that this report includes that to me makes the whole thing seem like B.S. Guessing, nothing more |

My suspicion is that it has more to do with the petty shit of trying to lock up more than one venue to drive out any "competition" from holding events anywhere close to piggyback off of WrestleMania weekend. Makes business sense on the surface until you realize nothing can actually touch WWE, and them trying to hoard shit like dragon gold is what's going to make things backfire eventually. The simplest solution would be to just focus on putting out a superior product instead of trying to stop other companies from making inroads or shutting down outlying conventions . Coasting by on your brand name only lasts as far as the brand name being synonymous with trusted greatness, and they're eroding that by themselves. |
It's just another attempt at a big show. Call it No Mercy and put some effort in. But they won't. They'll just tell you it's the biggest and the best thing ever. Just like the only time Raw and SmackDown fight is at Survivor Series.
