Season 2 premiered last night. It was awesome. There were a ton of cool ass nods, a bit of world building, and some decent action. I hope somebody else here is enjoying this show.

Didn't get a chance to watch last night, but I will definitely be checking it out tonight. If it's as good as last season, I'm sure I'll love it.

I've finally been catching up on season 1. Have something like four eps to go in the season. Show sure did get a lot better after I stopped watching it.

Don't you ruin this for us Lock Jaw. If it starts to drop off in quality, we know who to blame.

The show did build quite slowly. It was as if they knew they were gonna be doing so much awesome fanboy shit, that they took their time getting to all of it.

Gorram, just watched the finale of season 1. Can't believe I didn't keep up with this show. Too emotional right now, can't start season 2 just yet.

Just watched the season premiere. Love the way it is going now, with him trying to become more of a non-killing hero instead of a "ruthless" vigilante.

Summer Glau just seems awkward and out of place though. Hope they don't cancel the show because of her.

Arrow is top notch.

Laurel's makeup really bugs me this season. Her eyelashes are really weird and distracting.

I knew that the League of Assassins was showing up this season, didn't think that they would connect it with Ra's though, since he is a major Batman villain.

We hear about star labs, central city, ted kord, LoA, ollie went to bludhaven....I love how much they build out Arrow's universe.

I guess to be fair with the whole villain thing.... can honestly not think of another "Green Arrow villain" other than Merlyn.

Might be a side effect of the eventual additon of Flash- the ability to possibly add some of the Rogues as regulars in the villain department.

What I lovea about Arrow is they take all these B and C characters and try and turn them into A's.

Also the Count is suppose to be coming back this year. I feel like they are going to try and turn him into Green Arrow's Jokerr equivalent.

Oh yeah, Count Vertigo. I think he was mainly a Green Arrow villain back in the day, before going on to being more associated with the Suicide Squad.

I wish people would have this attitude with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. instead of nitpicking it after EVERY ONE of the 5 episodes of it so far.

Great twist there Black Canary. Not who she ended up being of course, but more the stuff with her and Oliver. Didn't see that coming.

Nerdgasms all over the place tonight. Brother Blood, LoA, and the shit with the Lance family...This is great television.

Awesome show.

But, I wish they stop with the product placement. I don't wanna buy the Bose portable speaker thank you very much.

Them paying the bills is a small price to pay for such an awesome show. Did you see the stupid 'texting can wait' scene from the season 1 finale? that was atrocious.

It was good, but I didn't think it was up to par with the rest of the season.

Discussion about Arrow possiblybeing in a Justice league movie. Good for this thread? Or DC thread?

How so? I thought the action was there...it seems like a great way to get Canary out of the way for a moment, while the whole Brother Blood angle ramps up. She also stole some of Momma Queen's screen time. Kinda anxious to figure out the shit she's been hiding.
Personally, I'm not a sticular. If Arrow Begets Flash, and the Flash ends up in the JL Movieverse, how can Arrow NOT be in the universe. Besides, I love the universe they're building in Arrow. For a TV show, it feels big.

I hope Arrow does end up in the JL movie, aside from the obvious big 2 this show has made him the most established character they have, but I'm get the feeling he won't be included as the character really isn't a big name in comparison to the rest of the normal assumed lineup of the Justice League.

I know rumors are always subject to change, and some are just downright foolish, but the last one I heard had there being 2 Flash's. One for Arrow, and one that was completely unrelated for the JL movie that would keep the universes separate.

I don't want Arrow in that universe at all. I don't think it ever will be anyway.

He will be completely overshadowed. I just want him and the show to just keep growing it's own world.

I'm such a mark for this show.

I love the Island stuff.

The seeds were already planted but they are growing for a certain character... I really like that.

Also who do you think the Captain of the ship is? I feel like it's going to be some semi-known character and everyone is going to be like "Woah" when he is revealed. The person has to be pretty tough in order to lead that crew.

I wonder how they will change her history for the show. I had a feeling that she banged Robert Queen along the way hence why she wants to help the company. Either way I'm interested in her though.

I wonder if Hourman is going to be spun-off from Arrow as well, with the mention of Miraclo.

Was surprised at how much of Barry Allen's origin was in there. Professor Zoom pretty much confirmed, as well as time travel shenanigans.

Also, reading online, Brother Cyrus (super strong dude) last name is Gold. Cyrus Gold in the comic books became the thing known as Solomon Grundy. Nice little nod.

I wonder if Allen has his speed powers yet, or if they are saving that for the pilot of his show.

He doesn't have it yet. They've been plugging the partical exceltor all year. That's going to be how he gets his powers.

My only complaint with the show is that they go to fast with story lines. I fear they are going to hotshot Slade. They need to drag him out as long as possible.

Also I like Barry and Felicity. They need keep to keep Oliver and Felicity a part as long as possible. They should definitely end up together, but that's years down the road.

Dunno, I was a bit weirded out by Barry/Felicity. Always took Felecity as an "adult" on par with Oliver/Laurel, that age range. Barry came across as younger than that. Something like Thea's age or something. Oliver even made a statement about how he would get carded at the bar.

Felecity likes 'em young and awkward I guess.

I think you can pin-point the exact point that Arrow season 1 really "picked up" and became "can't miss", with the promotion of Felicity Smoak to the main cast.

Emily Bett Rickards is only 22. So I would imagine Felicity is also 22? She does seem older then that though.

I need me some Malcom Merlyn orgin story. I need to see his training and some of his evil adventures. I would like to be miniseries. Give me like 6 episodes over the summer. Everyone would love that.

The big revel while awesome not that surprising. However for the record I wouldn't have minded if he stayed dead, because It's still a really good story if he stays dead.

Did you think Arrow would have become this good? I just thought seeing the promos for it before it came out it was going to be a dumb CW show, but it's so not.

Also, I really liked the reveal that Slade is still alive. I've been thinking the past few weeks how all the stuff on the island is good, but that I knew exactly how it turned out (Everybody but Ollie dies).

I hope Slade sticks around past this season, and isn't just the "big bad" of this season. Would be cool if they had Slade, Merlin, and the League of Assassins all around doing their thing.

Was expecting Slade to say "and then he has my permission to die" at the end there.

Slade has to be on the island for all 5 years.

I would somehow build this angle up and then only in the finale of this season have Ollie and Slade come face to face, and Slade does something real terrible (maims Thea or something).... prompting Ollie to swear terrible vengeance and up the war for the third season.

So remember Season finale of last year... Cut to a long hall someone walking down the hall saying something to someone at a desk in chair? The guy down the hall was talking about I thought the guy was talking about Fryers shooting down the plane?

That hallway Blood walked down tonight looked a lot like the hallway from last years season finale.

Here is my question... The scene I'm talking about from the season finale was definitely a flashback right? I didn't confuse that?

I'm pretty sure it was a woman at that desk to. So what I'm getting is Slade is connected to that "company" and knows more about the island then he is letting on.

I'm basing that off of it being the same hallway.

Oliver let the woman Slade loved die. So that means Slade is going after Felicty.

Except that he has way more indication to go after Laurel. She hasn't been doing much this season, maybe she gets maimed.

He 'll find out.

Laurel wasn't on the show two straight weeks. What's going on with her?

She has to hate Emily Bett Rickards. She has taken all her screen time.

So, a show like Walking Dead makes you all weepy for people who unexpectedly get killed.

Arrow, on the other hand, says "FUCK THAT NOISE!!!" and make make you wonder if anybody actually died.

At this point, I would not be surprised if Mr. Queen shows up 100% cured from giving his brain a point-blank hot lead massage.

Originally a Green Lantern villain, then mainly a JSA villain. Has fought many more people since then.

Originally he was Cyrus Gold, who was murdered in Slaughter Swamp, and he came back to life as some sort of monster/not-quite-swamp-thing.

... which I see them making him re-occuring after that green shit fell on his face at the end. Maybe whatever that was mixes with the Mirakuru and causes memory loss and reanimation or somesuch.

I mean, they're explaining Flash, so Grundy wouldn't be super farfetched.

Also, they love not letting people die that everyone thinks is dead as I mentioned in my last post in this thread. Except in this case, Ollie keeps killing him, and Cyrus/Solomon keeps coming back specifically to wreck his shit because fighting The Hood is one of the few things he actually remembers, along with that poem and he ends up thinking that's actually his name.

Fully caught up now. This is a great series. One of my faves of the past few years, and has remained strong into a second season.
