Droford 12-30-2016 12:10 AM

Last year was due to an unprecedented number of injuries. No one remembers how they were beating Denver (eventual SB champions) 13-9 in the 3rd quarter week 1 before Suggs tore his Achilles and set the injury tone for the rest of the season. Denver sealed the game with an 10 minute drive in the 4th quarter which was solely on the defense being sapped after losing suggs.

You're gonna avoid this issue like the plague, aren't you? It's very telling...

Droford 12-30-2016 12:19 AM

Outside of last year the Ravens haven't been sub .500 since Harbaugh started in 08 which factors out to be 95-63. Only NE 117-40 Green Bay 99-56-1 and Pittsburgh 98-55 have been better. They have 10 playoff wins which is 2 more than Seattle and New England have. They also won a Super Bowl in that time period just like those 3 ahead of them dud. So fuck your nonsense about the Ravens not being a good team

#1-norm-fan 12-30-2016 12:26 AM

The Ravens were good back when they won the super bowl years ago. So were the 49ers. Now stop being an idiot and acting like them being good in years prior means they're good forever...

Do you ever think of the amount of times you've said that about the Ravens over the past couple years and been wrong and thought "Maybe this team isn't as good as I think they are"? Honestly curious how you can watch the Ravens lose "easy games" so much and not start to figure it out.

New question. Are you not responding to this question because you know there's no answer you can come up with that will allow you to keep being delusional?

Droford 12-30-2016 12:51 AM

I remember in 2014 when they lost to the Steelers 43-23 in November and ended up playing them again in the Wild Card gsme. 30-17 but no one was giving the Ravens a shot at winning..certainly not the next week either. Then the next week they blew 2 14 or leads to the eventual SB Champions.

#1-norm-fan 12-30-2016 12:52 AM

I remember references about Droford saying the Ravens would start this season 13-0 but I never actually saw the post. I totally believe he did it though. Gonna need someone to link me to that post to add it to my megapost of delusional Droford Ravens fail quotes. Maybe seeing them all in one post will be the wake up call he needs to realize just how warped his view of this team is. This is some crazy serial killer levels of avoiding reality.

Droford 12-30-2016 12:54 AM

I jokingly said after they started 3-0 along with the Patriots itd be funny if it was a reverse of 2007 when the Ravens almost beat the Undefeated patriots in Baltimore.

#1-norm-fan 12-30-2016 12:58 AM

Oh alright.

Were you joking with all your other Ravens predictions, too? Has the last page and a half of you trying to explain how the Ravens are a great football team/better than Seattle been you just joking?

(I'm giving you a way out here. You should take it.)

Droford 12-30-2016 01:05 AM

I never actually predicted win/loss this year..just said it was an easy schedule compared to 2015s 3 west coast trips

Droford 12-30-2016 01:21 AM

2014 I predicted 11-5 they went 10-6 plus a playoff win
2015 I predicted 11-5 they went 5-11

Droford 12-30-2016 01:26 AM

Going ON THE FUCKING RECORD IN DECEMBER for 2017

HOME:
Cincinnati W
Cleveland W
Pittsburgh W
Houston W
Indianapolis L
Chicago W
Detroit W
Miami W
AWAY:
Cincinnati W
Cleveland W
Pittsburgh L
Jacksonville (London)W
Tennessee W
Green Bay L
Minnesota W
Oakland L
12-4
Scrutinizing the schedule a bit I can already see how the schedule will fuck the Ravens over. The London game is week 4/5 meaning early bye week. Definitely will go to either GB or KC in December when its freezing.

Loss to Indy just because aside from the SB playoff run they never play Indy well.

Edit for replacing KC with Oakland

You predicted a win almost every week and guaranteed a win in many...

You predicted them to be world beaters and they ended up being knocked out of the playoffs before week 17 like pretty much everyone else expected. And it raised no red flag in your mind.

You typed like 3 paragraphs explaining why the Ravens would be 13-0-. It was not a joke. It was you being idiotic.

#1-norm-fan 12-30-2016 09:15 AM

Hmm. I believe Ruien. Ruien is a trustworthy man.

Only game right now that I'd sweat is vs the Steelers week 9 (home after a bye week). The annoying thing is the Steelers share the bye week so no advantage there.
@Jags
Raiders (Probably the next game I'm slightly worried about)
Redskins
@ Giants (i will be there)
@ Jets
Bye
Steelers
Browns (Thursday night after election)
@ Dallas (Ravens have never lost to Dallas, extra days to prepare)
Bengals
Dolphins

I mean seriously..look at that schedule..4 road games but technically the 2 in NJ might as well be pseudo home games..

... Yeah, that's not a joke.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2017 04:40 PM

Brady MVP.

#1-norm-fan 01-01-2017 04:44 PM

Droford will be here shortly to explain why Joe Flacco is the obvious MVP.

Evil Vito 01-01-2017 04:53 PM

You can't be the MVP if you missed a quarter of the season and your team went 3-1 without you.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2017 05:17 PM

25 TDs to 2 INTs.

He can. He will.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2017 05:17 PM

Goodell can suck a dick.

Close. Justin Tucker

#1-norm-fan 01-01-2017 05:25 PM

If that were anyone but Droford, it would be an obvious joke...

Who cares? He missed a quarter of the season and there is no evidence to suggest that they wouldn't have won the division without him. 3-1 record without him which translates to 12-4 over a full season. Still would've won the division by 2 games.

Evil Vito 01-01-2017 05:49 PM

It's most VALUABLE player. Pats are a playoff team without Brady. Falcons aren't shit without Matt Ryan.

Well he was officially the Ravens MVP

#1-norm-fan 01-01-2017 05:56 PM

Congrats to Justin Tucker for being King Shit of Turd Mountain.

Ruien 01-01-2017 06:01 PM

Luck should be the MVP. Ryan and Carr are close.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2017 06:06 PM

Luck? Da fuck?

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-01-2017 06:09 PM

2 out of 3 good MVP picks by Ruien ain't bad though.

Ruien 01-01-2017 08:51 PM

Yes STD, everyone knows you hate Indy. Tell me, who would you pick to win a game: Browns or Colts without Luck?

Mercenary 01-01-2017 10:11 PM

If I was picking MVP tbh I go with Prescot or E. Elliot

#1-norm-fan 01-01-2017 10:29 PM

I'd go with Prescott for the simple fact that Dallas had a decent running game last year. Elliot obviously made it better... but they had one. And they couldn't win a game. They didn't have a QB. So value-wise Prescott made a HUGE fucking difference. Took them from a team who couldn't win a game without Romo to locking up the #1 seed 2 weeks early. Elliot is the better Rookie of the Year candidate but Prescott should have the edge for MVP.

Ruien 01-01-2017 10:36 PM

I doubt either will win it due to the fact both were that great with the offensive line.

#1-norm-fan 01-01-2017 10:47 PM

The offensive line was the same last year though and the team was still dreadful. The only real changes to the team were Dak and Zeke.

Ruien 01-01-2017 11:18 PM

Ya I get it was the same. It's going to factor into the decision though. The RB and QB were both beyond good which will detract voters.

They will split the vote.

Brady will somehow be at fault for this

Crimson 01-05-2017 03:13 PM

Why not Derek carr? I'm surprised his name isn't mentioned more. How many comebacks did he have? Without him Raiders will be lucky to be 8-8

Emperor Smeat 01-05-2017 05:39 PM

Chip Kelly rumored to be the Pats top choice if Josh McDaniels leaves for a head coaching job this offseason.

SlickyTrickyDamon 01-05-2017 06:16 PM

Don't think Brady will want to look at Kelly and then say "what play am I running Coach." His system has failed in the pros now twice. If he can learn that players in the pro level don't need hand-holding like college players need he could succeed.
