Her contacting The Rock about this problem probably is the reason why she didn't get punished by the WWE due to his influence in the company.

Meltzer speculated Creative having her dominate Asuka on RAW was their way of appeasing her so she'd be ok with losing at the Elimination Chamber (assuming plans don't suddenly change).

I don't know how true this is. Apparently she did pull rank in NXT. If true, she is more trouble than she's worth.

So finally someone stands up for their character and says no to 50/50 booking and that person is a problem for it? Make up your mind dude

I kinda get Nia's politicking. I'm against it on principle because I hated how HHH and the likes allegedly politicked because it led to shit t.v. (if the rumours were true). But as a wish washy son of a bitch if they aren't going to shit can her why not play her cards?

It's simply leverage and a bargaining tactic. I have no issues with it at all.

Mr. Nerfect 02-23-2018 09:50 PM

I'm fine with the right people pulling rank. I'm not okay with below-averagely talented rookies relying on nepotism to get ahead.

mike adamle 02-23-2018 10:25 PM

Nia Jax is gonna main event Mania someday against Ronda Rhousey. Below average my ass.

she's not perfect but they've booked her well and is one of the few ladies to get a consistent reaction. There is something "unique" about her, even with her deficiencies

Anybody Thrilla 02-23-2018 11:08 PM

Well, she's not like most girls.

Anybody Thrilla 02-23-2018 11:09 PM

I'm watching WWECW from the beginning, and it really was a very entertaining show at first. Kevin Thorn's theme was tight as fuck.

Anybody Thrilla 02-23-2018 11:27 PM

Kurt Angle was otherworldly around this time.

Nicky Fives 02-23-2018 11:30 PM

Nia's thoughts make sense to me. She's close to triple the weight of all the other girls on the roster. There is no reason for her to lose clean on some random show. When she loses, it has to be a big deal. Andre The Giant of the women's division.

If I were booking, she would have dominated the Royal Rumble after entering late and eliminated a ton.

Anybody Thrilla 02-23-2018 11:46 PM

She's still a fucking garbage promo.

Droford 02-24-2018 12:30 AM

I want to start a rumor

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, while it remains company policy to publicly disclose a WWE performer's name and duration of the suspension for a violation, this only applies to those on the main roster. Meltzer says NXT performers and other developmental talent are not subject to having their name publicly disclosed for a drug testing violation.
Clearly Johnny Gargano got popped

The Velveteen Dream did most likely. It was rumored at the time and this coming out probably cements it. Gargano is still working house shows, so unlikely.

Sixx 02-24-2018 02:59 AM

Wow, I googled and The Velveteen Dream is actually really a wrestler's name.

Nice, WWE. Keep up the good work.

Aleister Black

Its Patrick Clark from the most recent but still a while ago Tough Enough

Sixx 02-24-2018 03:36 AM

Not that it means anything to me.

Sixx 02-24-2018 04:55 AM

Bayley's face is just screaming "retard".

Bad News Gertner 02-24-2018 05:26 AM

I thought it screamed "ugly as fuck"

Ol Dirty Dastard 02-24-2018 11:11 AM

was thinking about how if I ever met Vince McMahon, I'd probably kiss his ass big time. Like if I happened to be lucky enough to get an interview with him, even if I wanted to ask him "hard hitting" questions, I'd probably just soft ball him.

He is one scary fucking dude if you think about it.

Cool King 02-24-2018 12:35 PM

I walked into one of the shopping centres here today and heard Nakamura's theme playing over the sound system.

I walked in and heard it and I immediately did the "Wooooh" thing in my head but I didn't even know it was his theme until about five seconds later.

During those five seconds, I just kept thinking stuff about the music. I thought "It's that song that everyone goes "Wooooh" too" then "Wait a minute, I really recoginse this" before realising it's his theme and thinking "That's Nakamura's theme!....why the fuck are they playing Nakamura's theme?".

It was at the end of his theme so I only got to hear it for about thirty seconds but after it finished, I was just left quite confused, which was probably because I was really caught off guard by it.

I'm happy at this.

I'd be pissed too if I was supposed to be a 272lb dominant superstar but had to randomly lose to Sasha Banks clean on the pre-show of a PPV nobody cares about.

Weirder still that the CCTV footage of this event has the word “ROCKSTAR” scrolling over it in big fucking letters.

Cool King 02-24-2018 12:53 PM

I was checking Twitter to see if anyone else caught it and had someone to say about it and instead, I've found out that the shopping centre like to blast out WWE themes every now and then.

Pretty good mini-documentary on British Indy wrestler Eddie Dennis if of interest to anyone: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...stling-a-dream

Featuring footage from former TPWW Poster Dave Youell's Pro Wrestling Chaos promotion.

No idea if anyone outside the UK will be able to watch it, but may be of interest to others.

I randomly turned on ROH for the first time in about 7-8 years and that was the match I saw.

And even then, I feel like Sasha should have a higher "rank" to pull. Because I would argue that Snoop is a bigger celebrity than the Rock.

I think it’s just a Barbie dressed up to look like Alexa Bliss

Sixx 02-25-2018 01:30 AM

Yah, if you google "Alexa Bliss Barbie doll" this post (tweet?) of hers is the only thing that comes up. Well, this and her action figures. So no Alexa Bliss Barbie doll apparently.
