He's still signed to NXT. He was pulled from Sanity after he got injured but he came back in April and has been working live events since then, not sure why he hasn't been back on TV. I do believe they did an angle where he was kicked out of Sanity and Killian Dane replaced him

Eric Young looks like that homeless guy that every small town has, the type that stops and randomly yells at the sidewalk & is generally disconcerting. You don't really learn the attitude he carries, you just have it or you don't. He's a boss at playing it up.

Lock Jaw 10-25-2017 02:52 AM

They just had him disappear one week, and Eric Young threw his jacket down. Killian Dane then started appearing and trying to take Sawyer Fulton's jacket (which wouldn't have fit him), and eventually was given it by Eric Young.

As Asuka goes: the only potential problem there is the main roster disconnect. On one hand, I ~kinda~ like how they are making Emma a semi-legit threat instead of simply being "all talk" like she has been. I don't like how they're doing it at the expense of Asuka.

What I mean is this: by how things have gone, just from the two matches, they have kinda killed Asuka's mystique by having her *barely* get any offense and clutch wins against the person who has been until right now the butt of the joke in RAW women's division. Even with all the "feared striker in ALL of wrestling, male or female" rhetoric, it seems counter to her getting slapped around and bumping all over the place in her two main stage debut outings. She went from being able to survive two or three competitors in a single match to almost eeking out a couple of wins over the percieved bottom of the main roster totem pole. There's a disconnect. It would be like if back in the day Goldberg came to WWE while "the streak" was still intact, and then on his premere and gets dragged to back to back "competitive" matches with Scotty 2 Hotty.

She's supposed to be this killer that "NOBODY READY FOR", but (and trust me, I hope I am dead wrong) ... but it looks like they are in danger already of dropping the momentum ball like they did with The 4 Horsewomen before her (especially Bayley).

Hopefully, they'll find a couple of female jobbers to feed to her on the main roster to bolster that back up, and not continue on the trajectory of "babyface in peril" for 5 minutes of a 6 minute match. That feeling of her music hitting and shit about to go down that one gets from the likes of Lesnar or Samoa Joe if she isn't able to continue her murdering ways on the big stage for the people who might not be paying $9.99 for NXT and wondering what all the fuss is about.

Again, I know it looks like I'm shitting all over Emma, who I'm not as high on as most around here, looks or otherwise. And yes, I am a big fan of Kana, but my fear is based more on the high likelyhood of this going to shit by the number of times WWE has let others down in exactly the same way. There are a few times where they ultimately don't fuck someone's credibility up, but more often, they see fit to piss away anything intriguing that doesn't fit into their plan- if they had a plan to begin with and then wonder later why they don't have stars or that "nobody is over".

Great question. He's not in Heavy Machinery, right?

Unless that was sarcasm, no. Totally different guy than Tucker Knight. Heavy Machinery wear those low-cut singlets, and that very unique piece of ink on his chest would totally be visible on with that Owen Hart attire.

I like Wolfe. He has a weird charisma about him. Great dancer too.

I second this . Also think he upped his game the night they won the titles.

At this moment in time I'm wary about anyone coming up to the main roster, it's too crowded at the moment and there needs to be some cuts or else anyone who gets called up will just struggle with a lack of direction off creative .

But if the cuts were to happen I think the ones who will do well would be the ones with less expectation i.e. No Way Jose or The Iconic Duo. I say this cos The Drifter is doing a lot better than I thought he would after his call up.

Lars is the second coming of Killer Kowalski.

Sanity don't do it for. I like Nikki Cross though.

Anybody Thrilla 11-12-2017 06:54 PM

Man. Bianca Belair is really, really, really good. Hard to believe she's so new to it.

Mr. Nerfect 11-13-2017 07:55 PM

Is she the one that whips her hair? Apparently that is pretty over. If you're looking for acts that stand out, she might be a good choice to put some focus on.

Mr. Nerfect 11-13-2017 07:56 PM

I don't like the name "Belair" for whatever reason. Just call her Bianca Blair. Holy shit just saw she's only a year in.

Anybody Thrilla 11-14-2017 04:35 PM

Yeah, but what's in a name? On paper, "The Rock" is a really fucking stupid name.

Check her out if you can. She was great in the Mae Young Classic.

Mr. Nerfect 11-14-2017 05:00 PM

There's a lot in a name, really. I'm not down on the talent, I just hate the name, haha.

Yeah, unlike ABT, I think she seems like the only truly deranged, crazy member of SAnitY.

Pretty sure that sounds too close to "Flair" for WWE to want that. And yes, for as green as she is, she seems like a natural. Really hope she is in it for the love and not one of those "stepping stone to modeling" chicks, because she could go places if she keeps at it and gets booked correctly.

I hate the name "Authors of Pain," but they entertain the he'll out of me. I like the idea of, if Roman turns on the Shield, he has these guys back him up as his new "Shield."

Or if we must go with Reigns vs. Lesnar lets do something interesting and not just have The Big Dog send Lesnar out of WWE at the end of his contract. One idea I had was to set the match up and have Reigns begin to hint that he knew exactly how to beat Brock because he'd been given some advice from Paul. Have some mistrust begin between Heyman and Brock with Paul denying the accusation, a wedge developing between the pair to the point where Lesnar doesn't want Heyman at ringside for his match.

At Mania, a back and forth war or attrition ends with the Authors of Pain debuting and helping Roman lay waste to Brock when he won't stay down. This gives us a sort of nu-Shield given the aesthic similarities with AOP, but with a clear leader/underling scenario. Of course the "Paul" Roman was referring to was Ellering, not Heyman.

Mr. Nerfect 11-15-2017 08:04 PM

The Authors of Pain seem like good sponges and guys that are willing to take cues and learn, but I'm not that enthused for them for whatever reason.

It's not my wrestling name, idiot. It stuck from years ago. I've thought about changing it but don't really care, because I'm not presenting myself to anyone beyond a group of people on an internet forum. You'll also notice the little thing I have under my name is from a bet I lost to Destor in 2008 that I haven't bothered to change either. My signature is still "The Optimists," so that should tell you something.

A.J.K 11-18-2017 12:11 PM

Ruby Riot, Roderick Strong, Alistar Black, Johnny Gargano are my favorites in NXT right now.

Mr. Nerfect 11-22-2017 04:39 PM

Going to go out on a limb and say I think Velveteen Dream will turn out to be fairly impressive. :shifty:
