This Kurt Angle doc is making me want them to bring WrestleMania back to Safeco Field in Seattle

I had no idea Kurt broke his neck twice while in WWE. That's insane he broke his neck 3 times overall. Good documentary!

This might be the best documentary they've done yet. So much of Kurt's rise paralells the Attitude Era, Cena era and Brock.

They are diving into the death of Kurt's adult sister due to addiction, which happened the same time he was battling it.

Kurt's wife telling a funny story about them having their first date at an Applebees

Kurt's wife talking about Kurt 'blacking out' on the couch and her threatening to take the kids and leave unless he changed his life. Dixie has been on 3-4 times talking about Kurt so far, she comes across as very nice/genuine.

Theory: Bayley is Kurt Angle's illegitimate daughter.

To be fair, Cass isn't really that bad on the stick. He is nowhere near Enzo, but he isn't Jeff Hardy's first singles push abysmal either. With Enzo doing most of the heavy lifting since they paired up in NXT, he's been glaringly outshined with a mic, and now that he's Generic McBadHeel, he is coming off worse than he actually is... ironically similar to who kicked his ass: Big Show. Remember how nobody thought Show had *anything* until that SNL cameo? According to stories floating around from around then, he actually had chops, but never really got to display it onscreen. Cass needs something he can sink his teeth into, like being the personal ring announcer and providing the theme music for Blue Pants or the (very) few occasions where he dominated the talking time (like that one where he made a joke, but Enzo didn't get it at first, and spent half the interview actively piecing it together while Cass was speaking).

With qualifications, yes. However, the biggest potential problem is one of his biggest assets: being tall. Sort of the opposite end of the spectrum from Austin Aries, WWE will likely expect a lot of grand and instantaneous results just by virtue of him being a really tall guy, and as such, never really give him any opportunity to advance as a character. Yet another big, generic heel.

Unless there are dimensions added to him (like the aforementioned Test started becoming an enormous asshole that exuded douchebaggery and abusive woman-hating: there was a *reason* to hate him other than just size), people will collectively stop giving a crap after his feud with Enzo runs its course. And, if "getting over by osmosis" fails, like so many others, it will supposedly be his own fault instead of the lack of ability of even one of the how many ever writers they have coming up with an idea for the man to have shit to do beyond next week.

Seduction of one or the other. Most people would say Bo, because "they're brothers" and their inexplicable BO-ner for the guy, but I would say Axel specifically. Slowly, over time... as in not suddenly have him come out in unwashed coveralls. Bray is talking to him in the background of other people's promos (the ones where Corey Graves isn't lurking or texting). The beginning of a Mizterouge promo starts with Bray turning and leaving and Henning* thanking him, Miz or Bo asking what that was about, and him initally just kinda glossing over it with a non-answer. Then, later on, saying stuff like "You ever just talk to the guy? He makes a lot of sense!" and eventually, refers to Bray something like a "spiritual advisor" or somesuch. Bray makes him the monster he should be.

Remember when that one little throwaway line in a promo about a stereotypical little kid Cena fan turned into a super over imaginary sidekick that got way more mileage than it should have?! Funny how shit works sometimes.

Given the "new direction" that was rumored with Bayley, this would not surprise me at all.

Another random theory: Kurt Angle has been having an affair with Lana. This is to build to Rusev vs. Angle. They like embarrassing Rusev and Lana, and Angle is game for anything and has said he wants the match. I won't go as far to "predict" it, but that really wouldn't shock me.

* They've sped through the Naomi vs. Lana stuff.

* Rusev is playing the anti-American in his feud against the free agent.

* Angle can help Cena at Battleground to continue blurring brand lines, because that feels like something that would do.

* It would be Angle acting like a heel which is totally in line with at least one feud Rusev has had around Lana.

Also possible: It's not even something that bad and it's just entirely goofy and has no consequence to the product at all.

The "big one" is Angle/Steph, but I just cannot see them doing it. It just seems like something that Triple H and Steph would nix. I can see them getting involved in whatever Angle is doing, but it just doesn't seem like a kosher move.

I did have the brief thought of Vickie Guerrero too. I don't know why. God, I don't know why.

Ha, that's a similar response to me. I'm speculating, but it's more with a tepid bemusement than anything else.

I'm curious to read about the direction they go in for SummerSlam. It seems likely that Strowman will get involved. But are they really going to go with a 4-Way at SummerSlam? It's not entirely unlikely, especially given the "SHEER MASS OF HUMANITY!" in the ring. Something about it seems like a cop-out and like it's jammed in there. But it seems like they are also going to do a 4-Way between the women and the RAW tag teams. Is this going to be like WWE Fatal 4-Way all over again?

A thought I had listening to a RAW recap was that they could do something WrestleMania X-like. Reigns could face Strowman in their final blow-off match while Joe could face Lesnar for the Universal Title. Then Brock and Reigns can face each other in the main event. It also seems unnecessary, but one thing I do like about it is that it puts emphasis on specific guys. The WWE has a star shortage, and instead of jamming everyone on the card, I'd rather they focus on the things that are at least somewhat working.

I think someone is going to out Kurt as being transgender. Kurt will be embarrassed at first but will learn that the WWE universe still accepts him.

Angle is such a trooper that he would probably go along with the program.

I believe that this will involve Stephanie in some way. My guess is that they have a picture or some video footage from 2000 that wasn't used in the initial storyline that was (for story purposes) "leaked" or "stolen" which will bring Steph & HHH back to TV. Remember, it wasn't Stephanie that "hired" Angle to be the new GM, it was Vince. The conflict of interest shall insue... leading to what I figured was going to be Angle's first (if not only) match against HHH.

The difference is Bischoff was a great on-screen performer with enough name value and notoriety to offer something to the product. Dixie offers nothing.
